Yeah, I think I have it all cleared up. I talked to both of them on the phone tonight so I think I got it now... So we're all good !!! No school tomorrow! Yay! I can cruise the boards all night... what fun... what evil I could astir... no just kidding!! Or am I??? Haha jk again!

Quick update.. really busy at work.. lots of meetings.. still in Surgical ICU.. talked to the Doc this am and he said that my Dad will be there for at least today.. and will move during the weekend... still watching the breathing, and output to make sure the one remaining kidney is working..

Susan, you are in my continues thoughts and prayers as well. I hope your dad is out of surgical ICU soon.

Well guys today has been fun but I'm glad it is the end of the week. The boss was not in today so the deputy was in charge. We really wish she was in charge more often as she is more pro active with the naughty kids and we feel she deals with them much better. Aside from that we had a great afternoon as we had a science workshop which was great and the kids loved it.

After work we decided we couldn't be bothered to cook. I got home at 6pm and Pete go home at 7pm so we decided to go out for dinner to our local Thai restaurant which was great. Right now we are just relaxing, well I am Pete is on the phone to my dad (who is technologically challenged but very keen!!) who is trying to set up his new surround sound equipment he bought today, However he can't get the remote to work so none of it is working right now. It is quite funny trying to give him instructions when he is 2 hours away!

Oh well, the cats are miowing so I guess I should give them their supper.

Tomorrow we have to be up early again. Our best friends are going to New Zealand tomorrow. One of our best friends grew up there (she was born in England but moved to New Zealand when she was a toddler) and they are going to visit her mum and brother. So we are driving them to Heathrow airport to catch their flight. Hopefully it should be about a 2 hour drive there which should be OK.

just out of meeting, catching up on a few emails and then off to the hospital to see my Dad... the good news is that he doesn't have pneaumonia like they thought earlier today.. but he has a lung thing that needs to be cleared.. and he is starting have another issue.. so won't be out of the syrgical ICU for a while...

Tomorrow Eric has a game at 9, has to be there at 8- the other boys are leaving for a scout camping trip at 6 am.. after Eric football game, he will clean up and then I will drive him 1 1/2 hours to his camping trip and then back for 2 hours to the hospital to be with my dad..

Hey guys I could use a little PD. I got "fired" the other day. I don't know why I know I made some mistakes on the new job but I also worked darn hard. They just handed me a check and said they wanted someone full time (I was part time) and that was it. I cried and cried and God bless my sister she brought me over some Godiva chocolates. So I am allowing myself this weekend to pig out and feel sorry for myself.

Now I believe this is the window opening as the door is closing on my sorry butt. I have gotten so much wonderful support I really believe this was "his" way of telling me to do something different with my life. The issue is I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. But I'm willing to look. My husbands bonus came through so we can still take the kids to WDW, actually two weeks from today. So anyhow just wanted to spill, share, whine for one last time before I dust myself off pig out on pizza at my sisters today and move ahead. Thanks guys, see you Monday.

My day has been full.. started at 5 an this am , getting Dhband DS#1 breakfasted and ready to leave onthe Boy Scout Camp out..then DS#2 woke up at 6 am and got him breakfasted and ready for the 9:00 am Football game.. he had to be there before 8 am... Cold .. really cold like see your breath cold...


Panthers RULE!!!! Eric played awesome again this week.. couple of sacks and an interception.... finished game , got Eric ready for Boy Scout campout.. feed him lunch.. drove him 1 and 1/3 hours to the campout... got him settled, turned around and drove 2 hours back to spend a few hours with my Dad..

My dad is confused.. talking about very strange things that are not real..breathing is better, still in surgerical ICU..the one remaining kidney is still functioning ..whew!!!

Just got home and am starting to do laundry and clean..
boys will be back tomorrow about 2 ish... gonna see my Dad early and be here at 2 also.. next week I have training and need to be in a classroom.. without internet all day everyday..from 8 am to 6 pm..

OK enough whine whine whine......

s&k'smom i am so sorry that the job didn't work out.. but as you said .. he nevers closes a door without opening a window.. the right job is just around the corner...

geffric PD to you and your dad. Hang in there, it sounds like his on the mend a little and that he is in the best place for him.

So what are people doing today? I'm going to the theatre soon for a rehearsal and then I need to plan my school work for next week. After that I get a week off though. We are going away for 2 nights to my favourite theme park again. Due to the weather theme parks are not open all year round here, usually from the end of May to the end of October. The last 2 weekends this theme park has a big firework display with lasers and music which is what we are going to see. It should be fun.

I came home with a cold in my nose....which is a little better today...at least I don't have to walk around with a box of Kleenex in my hand all the time!

Geffric, I don't want to hear that it's that cold in Chicagoland yet.....I'll be there in three weeks and we need a nice day to 'do' Michigan Avenue! Guess I'd better start rummaging through my closet to see if I even have a coat that fits!!!

I'm off to brew a cup of tea!
