The all new extension to Tagliarchy Island.

Good evenin' everybody!!

Man... I wish I could go with ya'll. It sounds like ya'll will have a bunch of fun!! I'll be going for Spring Break '05 (Look at my countdown!! Yay!!!), but I don't know if any of ya'll are going then. Probably not.... :(

Tonight the band, color guard (flag corp under a new name), and the drill team had a show-off at the high school, and it started raining!! I had performance make-up on and everything! Does anybody know if they make water-proof eye shadow?? Or blush??? Yeah, that would have been helpful to wear today... But I did well anyways. I kicked high and I went all the way down in my splits for the first time on the practice field (the grass isn't the best to slide down in the splits in...)! Go me!! ::yes:: Hehehehehehehehe!! Okay, enough exclamation points. I'm sorry... I really over-use them.

I guess I'll go! I have pictures tomorrow morning (again, this time with the band and color guard), but I have to be there at 7:15 instead of 6:45! Much, much better, in my opinion. Except we have to wear our Michael Jackson jacket as I like to call it (I might post pictures if I can get some...) instead of our really cute cowboy outfit. Seriously, this jacket is long sleeves, but it ends right above our waists...

Danauk, my brother (the one in Austria) called home for the first time yesterday and said that he had the best chocolates he had ever had in his whole life there. He didn't say the brand though, but I wonder if those were the Mozart brand and if he's bringing any home for his darling, sweet, charming little sister...

DHSsenior007, OMG, in the rain, you are such a trooper!!!!!

Kismetdreams, that is good to know. but we aren't that organized. Oh well, wherever we go, we WILL HAVE A BLAST!!!!

Is it Adults only, I hope the Dragons can come along....

See you all around!!!!!

I remember those days  I was a cheerleader in high school and I always dreaded doing splits on the wet field .......wet grass feels just plain icky on your um, underside, and unfortunately, that icky feeling stays with you for the rest of the game! :smooth:

NC Belle We had a great time with you at the Cheesecake Factory and thankfully it looks like you made it home in one piece ;) Oh, and I cleaned out some PM's  Can't wait to hear how the rest of your day went :)

Kismetdreams Hi there stranger! So good to hear from you and so sorry to hear about your friend :( That must be terribly hard for you and I'm sending PD your way. And good luck packing....sounds like Italy will be wonderful ::yes::

Cheeringmom What a wonderful idea  An Oct trip to England to visit Danauk would really cheer me up ;) Count me in!

39CINDERELLA Sending you PD also.....migraines are the worst :(

Hi, I think we should go to EPCOT for Dinner rather than a resort for sheer logistics. It is difficult to go from resort to resort.

I Like the Tepanaki bar at Japan in EPCOT better than Bemihana,

Canada Steak place (although Portifino is also dood.

My personal favorite would be Germany.

Marakesh is good too; I can't eat anything on the menu, but we could go for the show.

Bongos, or even Boma, or Jiko... same thing.

HOB, OK, but I don't think RRBB will be hip to that much smoking. .

There is also a dueling Piano Bar on the booardwalk...

:bounce:
Well, we'll be at PI, not Epcot, so most of the above are really convenient!!
Jiko was added in since so many people had mentioned it and it's at our resort :)

Would you like to rank them so I can count your vote?
RRBB is welcome to throw in a ranking, too :)

If DTD is too far out of the way, though, we'll understand and see you at breakfast at CP :)

cadburysmom and NC Belle Sounds like you had a yummy afternoon!! We have a Cheesecake Factory Express in the food court of our nice mall here ::yes:: YUMMY!!! Haven't been in quite awhile, though. I usually have the kids with me and they're not up for lingering over gourmet sandwiches and yummy desserts :(

We just had soft drink or water in NC Beast's case and cheesecake.

NC Beast and I did not have any drugs/alcohol except the eye drops. I should have protested against that stuff.

OK, late at night here, but I'd thought I'd post my "birthday dinner" preferences here (even though I have exchanged an e-mail with Lew...since I can't DIS at work  )

1. Jiko, Jiko Jiko!
2. W. Pucks (either upstairs or the cafe to save a little $$)
3. Portabellos

.....what were the other choices? Oh, HOB....I fear it will be too noisy for us to converse. Bongos....worried but willing, even though PixieMagic had a crummy meal there once. Benihana....a chain, only suggested it 'cause if might be fun for a group type situation.

ohanafamily, I'm willing to meet you for SEVERAL meals in Epcot ::yes:: I've always wanted to do Germany with a group and I know PixieMagic wants to do Sushi in Japan. So if it doesn't work out for all of us to dine together there, we sure can do it later in the week! Also if we end up at Jiko for birthday dinner......PixieMagic and I will have wheels and will be driving over from our time share...so we could 'collect' you two, if we're not, in fact, already together Sunday afternoon. Also, doing a resort or DTD means HuggaBaloo could join us without a park admission.

Which leads me to this question.....kadaten refered to Jiko being at "our" resort. Have the DIVAS moved AGAIN.....or is that still a hoping for an AP rate kind of thing??

39CINDERELLA, you will love POFQ, I really, really enjoyed staying there last April. The 'privacy' curtain that closes off the sink/bathroom area comes in really handy. As far as birthday dinner being an 'adults (and dragons) only' meal.....I don't know about anyone else, but I'd always pictured it that way. I guess because I assumed the KY girls and their families would not be meeting us for that event and the fact that we are going to PI after dinner for wild and decadent behavior! Well, not PixieMagic....she's driving!

Hey everyone. It sounds like you guys are going to have so much fun at WDW together. Think of me at work whilst you are enjoying yourselves!!!
It looks like our teens will have some stories to tell about their trip. WDW is shutting the parks at 1pm today due to the hurricane. I hope they are all safe. Could we spare a thought for 2 of my friends please. They own a house about 15 minutes from Disney and are a little worried about it. They are not there right now but have some of their friends holidaying in it right now. I hope everyone in the area stays safe. I have been reading posts from Florida Disers and a lot of them seem to be staying home despite having being told to evacuate. I hope they will all be OK.

Oh well, back to the DIY, I haven't done any yet as I had to go to the dentist this morning. Luckily it was only a check up and he said my teeth are fine so I don't need any work doing on them. I need to go paint the top coat on the window frames and doors and paint the window ledges. At least we have windows in as guess what the weather is like right now? Thats right, raining!!!!

And thanks for the yummy breakfast!:sunny:

cadburysmom, Cheeringmom and geffric that would be great fun. We could go to London to see some west end shows. Any preferences, Mary Poppins is opening in a few weeks which could be fun.

I would love it.....but hearing about all the wonderful musicals you're involved with, it'd be a treat to see YOU on stage!::yes:: Is your theatre group working on a new production?

Hi all, How about a nice breakfast catered in from CP this morning. I think Donald will deliver it.....

kadaten, I am sorry, I misunderstood about it being a PI night and thought we were just looking for a place to eat. I was suggesting places we could go with big tables where we could talk for hours. BUT, Drunken Debachery sounds good to me... Several Beautiful women, all wanting to drink and dance!!!, I just hope I will be able to keep up!?!

Here is RRBB's list,
1) Jiko
2) Wolfgang Puck’s Café
3) Portabello Yacht Club
4) Bongos
5) Benihana
6) House of Blues

I will say
1) Portabello Yacht Club
2) Jiko
3) Bongos
4) Wolfgang Puck’s Café
5) Benihana
6) House of Blues

RRBB and I are planning on the next Thursday after most of you have gone) for the MNSSHP, unless someone who is bringing kids wants us to join them...

Maybe Monday We can get together in WS for more food and wine?

We are up for anything, but RRBB will be pretty far along so she can't drink, and needs tobe carefull about overdoing it. So I think we might want to meet up for a "Hangover Meal" on Monday too...What do you think?

Um.....I resemble that remark! Poor military folk :teeth:

BUT, this trip is not frivilous. It's a certified MENTAL HEALTH BREAK, at least for the DIVAS THREE!! ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

That's how I justify it, anyway. Oh, and the good people at Visa need to make a living, too, so I'm doing my part to keep them employed ::yes:: Yeah, that's it! :teeth:
