Hello!
I am hoping that you Contemporary experts can help me out here.
I have not been to WDW in 23 years. Back then I wanted to stay at the Contemporary, so now I am bringing my husband and daughter for their first visit to WDW and the only place I could imagine staying was at the Contemporary. We are staying on Club Level. When I got the email with the reservation, it did not go into room detail, but on the My Vacation page, when I login, it says:

Magic Your Way Package plus Dining

One CM when I called with our last payment made a comment about the MK view and I would swear he said 12th floor. As I understand it there are no suite on the 12th, just club level standard rooms. So what exactly does it mean when it says 2br villa? I don't think I paid enough for a suite. With my husband's snoring it would be nice, mind you...

Last question:
I saw the menu pages you gave the link to for evening club menus. It seems pretty heavy on meat items, is there anything vegetarian?

Originally my family and I had a Magic Kingdom View - Atrium Club reservation for this August and when I looked it up online after we made the reservation it also said 2 Bedroom Villa, so when I went to call CRO and they looked it up on the computer they said it was for the Magic Kingdom View on the Atrium Club floor. So your not the only person who has had that happen to them and I would not worry about it. We also had made that reservation online and knew we selected the right room, because we got an e-mailed confirmation which said Magic Kingdom View - Atrium Club.

Finally I don't have a list of the side offerings but on different days they do offer some cold items which are vegetarian, like Tabouli and etc. So I am sure if you ask a Cast Member on the 12th floor they can tell exactly what those items are.

Does anyone know what kind of activites will be going on at the CR on the 4th? We will be getting there that day and would like to know what they have going on for the kids or any other activities. If anyone knows, TIA!

Can you tell me if the bedsprends are changed with each new reservation? My son has a fatal lung condition. He is also highly allergic ro cigarette smoke. Smoke lingers on clothes and anything a person sits on, whether they not smoke in the room . The smell of smoke triggers coughing spells.

Can I request the top bedspread be cleaned before we enter the room? Who do I call?

I'm not sure if they change everything, but if i had to guess they probably at least change the sheets. its prolly a good thing to call the front desk to double check. I am 100% positive that they can help and add a special note to your reservation.

I am also not sure if they are changed everyday, however since all the rooms are now non smoking there should be no one smoking in any of the roms. I would also try to request a room that had always been non smoking before those rules went into effect just to be on the safe side. I would also highly suggest to call WDW and have them make a note on your reservation that it's changed before you check-in.

We just got back from our trip and I gotta say my heat belongs to CR! We stayed at GF and while it's a great place, it just tugged our heartstrings to have the monorail stop there and not get off!

I do have one question.. will regular parking lot in front of the resort still be available for regular CR guests? I saw that BLT had marked parking spaces so I assume that's their parking lot?

I wasn't sure if there were any big changes coming to the resort because of BLT?

We always have a rental car and yes, I am counting days until we return and I get my stay on the 14th FL,

I'm so happy I found this thread - we decided to move our trip to WDW from November back to August and our TA was able to get us the Contemporary w/ a Theme park view. Thanks for all the wonderful advice you have here - we're quite excited.

When I booked my stay I had them note Special Accommodations for cleaning. On the Walt Disney World site they list options for Special Accommodations, some that might apply to you are:

- VIP Clean - for allergies
- VIP Clean - no chemicals or scents
- VIP Clean - remove all linens (if you will bring own linens)
- VIP Clean - replace with new linens due to sever peanut allergies
- Double rinsed linens
- Air filter replaced and carpets cleaned
- Carpet has not been just cleaned
- Items removed from room (ex. soaps)
- Rubber sheets
- No down or feather pillows due to allergies

Call whoever you made your reservations through and tell them which you want attached to your reservation.
