CRFan you are quick to reply no wonder you are "Ruler of anything CR"!

Something I noticed from the CR picture thread. there was a picture someone took froo the fire escape on the northside facing MK. Each floor has what appears to be a small deck with what i presume are stairs to the bottom. can a guest on any aprticular floor(6th,8th 12th ect) step on out there to take pics or will the door sound a fire alarm? @ DLR Paradise pier hotel they have a fire escape at the end of the building and people would go out and smoke there or take pictures.

thanks!
Yes guests can step out onto those small decks on each floors, however I think they would recommend you taking those pictures on the 4th floor observation deck. The only time I went out onto them on the 12th floor I was just curious to see it, however I had my dad stand on the inside incase the door wouldn't open up for me to get back in.

It is a very easy way to watch the fireworks if you have sleeping children nearby and don't want to go any further than the end of your hall, or if you think you are in for the evening and then decide to take a quick look at the fireworks without actually going further than a few feet from your door. The door does lock behind you so whenever we were out on the balcony someone would put a newspaper or some small object to block the door from shutting. You don't hear the music like you would on the 4th floor observation but you do have a great view of the fireworks. It is a decent sized balcony and there were always several people from our floor watching from there.

I will be staying here for 2 nights ( a big treat) and I have a MK view booked. As a guest of CR are we allowed to use the BLT pool?

No you can not use the Bay Lake Tower pool. It's the other way around because anyone staying at Bay Lake Tower can use the Contemporary pool, if they feel like making the short walk over there.

Very excited to be joing this thread! Just booked a Theme Park View tower room for 12/4-12/10 with a 40% off pin code!:cool1: I havent stayed here since I was a little kid, and now we are going back for our first trip with our son (supposed to be here by now!) Does anyone know what I should request so we have a quiet room without being too high up?

Have a great time.

bluechic03,
I forgot to mention that if you want a quiet room I would request one away from Chef Mickey's. Now as for what floor you should request usually people with the Magic Kingdom View want to stay as high as possible, which would mean the 11th floor. So I would suggest the 7th or 8th floor to be somewhere in the middle.

Thanks for the tip! I am just a little paranoid about being high up with a baby around...i dont know why I know there are railings :scared1:

Can you get a whole pizza at the Contempo Cafe? Can you use CS meal credits? TIA
They don't sell a whole Pizza, instead they have Cheese and Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza. However you can use CS credits there and if you really wanted a whole Pizza you can take the Monorail to the Grand Floridian and get one from Gasparilla's Grill & Games, which is their counter service location and you can also use your CS credits there.

Hi guys,
Had posted this in the cake chatter but thought I might give here a try. Have searched for an answer with no luck. Sorry if this has been covered already. Have been loitering on this thread for some time now!
So...We arrive on Feb 26th. It's my daughter's birthday on March 2nd and I'd really like a cake for her that morning. I've tried being transfered to Contemporary and have spoken to someone in the bakery and private dining, but although very helpful, they said it was too early to order and they didn't have an e-mail for the bakery. There's only 3 weeks to go and I know others have ordered cakes before. I have made a drawing of the cake idea I have and I'd like to connect via e-mail with the bakery, as I know others have. Any idea what to say to get someone to pass the e-mail on to me?:)
I appreciate your time, Anita

Sorry...I will get around to reading all hundreds of pages of this thread (I think i'm on page 20 something!)

So, can I just ask this even though I'm sure it's somewhere on this thread?

Can CR guests walk across the cool bridge connecting the 2 resorts, or is it just for BLT guests?

Thanks for all your knowledge!

K

Hi,
If I request a crib, would it take up a ton of space in the room?
Thanks

The rooms are some of the biggest on Disney property and the crib is just a pack and play so no I don't think it takes up too much space but I havent done it myself yet

I thought that I could request a real crib...not pack and play. I was thinking it would be those mini cribs:confused3
good luck with your new addition!

I don't know if they still have those. I've rented a full size crib from www.abbf.com and had no problems fitting it in a room at the Poly. I would think you could easily fit it in the CR room too.

It's only for Bay Lake Tower guests.
