Yes they do have Powerade on their soda machine.

Thanks everyone for all your posts on the refillable mugs! So happy there are some other alternatives to soda. Now that all our school and extra activities have come to an end I can finally get back to getting ready for our trip!

Just had to post what a WONDERFUL experience we had on our vacation! We stayed June 2 - 9 Atrium Club level. (I know I'm kind of late posting but I guess I'm having withdrawls!!!) We drove for the first time in a long time and when I pulled up to the hotel, the guard called the front desk(I'm assuming) and told them we were there. When I pulled up to the front of the hotel, we were met by a concierge cast member who took us straight up to the 12th floor.(very cool!) She was very nice and showed us around. We arrived at 9am and I really didn't expect our room to be ready, but it was!!! WOW! We were in 4845 on the north end of the building. The first thing I did was go out to the balcony. What a view!!! All week the staff always greeted us with "Welcome Home" each time we got off of the elevators. They went above and beyond. Just a few examples, making dining arrangements for later than our ADR, even offering to repay me for coffee they thought I purchased downstairs(I didn't!). The refreshment offerings in the concierge room were great and always in good supply. Mousekeeping was phenominal. The convience of being on the monorail and walking distance to MK was great. We never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for a bus. Not to mention, CR is the first stop on the way back! It was a little hotter than I figured, but, hey, I'm from the South anyway so already kind of used to it. I guess what I'm trying to say is we had the time of our lives!! and the withdrawls won't last too long cause I booked bounceback for December!!!!(already got MVMCP tix!) Can't wait to see the World all dressed up for Christmas!!! Another Atrium Club level stay!!! My daughter and I have decided CR is going to be our "Home" resort!!! Thanks to everyone on this thread. You all gave me alot of good information. I'm usually not one to post alot, but I just HAD to share this!! and keep the good information coming!

wonderful to hear you had a great time!!! we had to give up concierge level due to a change in dates. we are arriving next week at the CR and cannot wait.we have a mk view also and looking forward to it. I am still on the fence about shelling out the money for the CL. In any event we plan to have a great time. do you have any pictures to share? I will post plenty when we return. thanks again!

DisneyFreak---

We were there at the same time on Atrium CL! Did you have MK view and were you on the Chef Mickey end? If so, I think we were just a couple rooms apart.

We were very please with bus service & the greeting outside as we arrived. I don't know if I could talk DH into trying another Disney hotel or not. We were spoiled.

Welcome "home" to the CR:)

How nice to read that you and DD had a WONDERFUL time. You've discovered first-hand all the great things about the CR!

Even though we're "trying out" a couple of new resorts in August while DH is deployed, my DD chose the CR for our after-Christmas December visit. DH won't even consider staying anywhere except CR/BLT and has already announced that when he returns from his deployment, that's where we're staying in '11!

Whitney,

I was on the north end by BVG MK view(room 4845)! Wow!! How cool! I might have talked to you and didn't know it!! I met a lot of really nice people. We were in the concierge room one day waiting for the batteries to be replaced in our door lock. Were you the family I talked to about the park to visit on which day?!!

cburek,

Thanks for the reply and I will try to post some pix as soon as I can. The MK view is great! To sit out on the balcony every night and watch the fireworks was over the top! We got to see both sets of fireworks, Wishes and Summer Night Fantastic! Channel 20 played the music so all I did was turn the TV up. This was my first Club level stay and the Pin code(40% off) was my deciding factor. Got a bounceback code for the December stay as well. I must say, Club level was GREAT!! Breakfast every morning, snack until late afternoon(the potato chips were heavenly), heavy hors d'oeuvers late afternoon, and then, the desserts and cordials!! The cast members were wonderful. They knew who I was and always were very helpful and pleasant. If you haven't ever stayed Club level, I say try it at least once!! You might get hooked, just like me!!!

I had assumed they would be doing that, but thanks for the confirmation that the music for the Summer Night Fantastic is being played on channel 20.

WDWKOOK and CR Fan for Life,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I must say, I have fallen for CR, hook, line, and sinker!!! Can't wait until December. Never been during Christmas. Got any inside info on what to do and see? I have tix to MVMCP and am waiting on CP ADR. Since we just got back, I figured instead of concentrating on rides, we would take in the atmosphere. December just can't get here fast enough!!

You're welcome and that is great to hear.

CR fan,

Channel 20 definitely played the music and the fireworks were launched from all over the perimeter as well!!! We tried to be back at the room every night to see them. Except for Epcot and HS night we made it! Even the day we had set aside for MK we left after the parades so we could watch from our balcony!!! After a long hot day, grabbing a drink and dessert, sitting on the balcony, propping my feet up during the show was the best!! I am looking forward to many more stays. Come on December!!!

You're review is also making me more excited for my families upcoming Atrium Club stay in August.

Hi - planning our first trip this October, staying at CR. Curious as to what time we would need to leave our room for an 8:15 ADR @ Epcot? Thanks!

Yeah I know, I was on the fence about the CL but I just cant seem to overcome the additional $100 per night to upgrade. We are doing YC CL but the pricing difference wasn't as much from a waterview to garden CL. So at least we will have that. We are happy that we have the MK view.

I have been calling to make a ressie for Jan 2011 and they tell me that the rooms have not been released yet. They told me to call back in August. Does that sound right??!!!

No, you can call and book a room now for January 2011...they will charge you one night at the 2010 highest rate then adjust it once the new rates come out sometime in August. We have already booked our room for January 2011.

I like to be at least 5 or 10 minutes early for ADRs as that seems to put you at a table closer to your actual ADR time. Given that, I would head to the monorail from your room at 7:15.

Have a great first trip!
