The Alaska Wonder-Land Adventure Cruise -August 4, 2014 -ROLL CALL!!

GOOD MORNING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS! WE SET SAIL IN 60 WEEKS! THAT IS 420 DAYS!

Yay! Another week closer! I actually woke up the other night thinking about excursions

Our family is starting to look at excursions. Bears, whales, sled dogs and trains. So many choices ! With 12 in our group, and everyone's opinions it's apt to get very confusing !
One thing I don't understand. DCL has the White Pass Railway tour with special kids adventure. But it's only for 5 years and up ? Don't understand why my 4 yo nephew can't come ? We may have to book Chilkoot railway tour instead of Disney.
Also interested in seeing some bear, but not sure i want to go in a floatplane. Concerned about motion sickness.
Would love to hear what everyone else is thinking .

There are so many things to choose from and not enough time to do them all! We are looking at zip lining, helicopter ride, whale watching, sled dog excursion, railway and a whole host of other things I love the idea of the kayak but there is simply no way I could possibly bring myself to do it. The minute I start thinking of myself in a tiny little kayak, in the ocean, knowing there are large creatures with large teeth swimming beneath me ... my heart starts racing and going into overdrive Not happening

So excited because my husband & I booked our very first Disney cruise this morning. I'm not certain if our 4 year old is more excited or if I am? We'll be celebrating our 10th Anniversary on board & couldn't be looking forward to the trip any more!

I'm a newbie to cruising - much less cruising with Disney - any essential advice?

Hi Lindilou and to the Disboards and our cruise meet thread. What a great way to celebrate your anniversary! There are a number of people on this thread that are very experienced Disney cruisers. So feel free to ask questions.

Hi everyone! :Almost a year out now! Since 330 days out is coming up I decided to start looking. Well ouch! Almost $400 per person nonstop RT from LAX or Burbank! Wow. Anyone found anything cheaper than that? If so, how and where? Which airports and airlines?

Just a heads up, I won't be able to do the updates for the next 2 weeks as we will be in Scotland on our first Adventures by Disney trip, aptly titled, "A Brave Adventure." Can you tell we're excited to go?
