LOL I liked her as Rose! I don't really know any of those younger actors. I just go by their looks.

Just finished the new Sookie Stackhouse book Dead and Gone. I liked it. I like them all. I did feel a bit like this book was setting up for more future events regarding the wereanimals. I also enjoyed Eric as always. I was suprised how little their was regarding the nephew, maybe that it is the next book. I hope I kept this review vague enough, lol.

Yes, the book had good parts (very good parts)...then there was the end....plllbbbbtttttttt....

I don't mind reading series (I like it actually) but I think each book should stand on it's own.

Twasn't my cup-o-tea fo sho. I like the comedy in the house of night series and thought VA had a more interesting premise. But, maybe the MVamps got more fun in book two? There just wasn't any FUN in them. Ya know?

You are right, it is kinda serious all the time. They kind of just stick to staying in. I think it was Claire and Shane's bond that kept me going!

I just finished Graceling By Kristin Cashore. I really enjoyed it. And I also enjoy anything by Tamora Pierce.

i downloaded the kindle version onto my ipod last night. i also began the lily bard series by charlaine harris and have read the first book "shakespeare's landlord and am halfway through 'shakespeare's champion'

so far i like sookie way better than lilly but they are good, easy reads.

i can't wait to sink my teeth into a bit of eric again. maybe i'll start it tonight.

Maybe because of the whole theory of the main character has to change from begining to end and it seems more shocking (exciting, improbable, interesting, unsuspecting?) to have a petite (and therefore meek?) person become somewhat of a warrior?

Just a thought, not a steadfast belief, mind you!
