Will everyone have FastPasses for ToT earlier on?

The speeder by Star Tours sounds good - very specific location.
5:00 would be a good time, and allows time for ToT and other things.
Fastpasses would be a good idea.

But you will sacrifice your five year old and have him ride his FIRST time with "Daddy's good friend......AnnDisneyFan......ummmmm no son, I am not sure what her last name is.......yes son, I 'met' her online......yes son, I know I told you never to meet anyone in person you met online.......yes son.........you are allowed to go with her into a haunted hotel that will drop you several floors at time because I am too scared to go with you"..........

I thought this was hysterical when I was reading it.
Catholic guilt doesn't work in our household.
Also dear mommy will be there as well.
I have Rode TOT with DS11 in the past.
DS5 is a little timid as up until now he hasn't been able to get on many rides.
DH measured him 2 weeks ago and he is now 44 1/2 inches tall.
If he wants to ride mommy will be happy to take him. I love all rides and have alot of fun with DS11. I am looking forward to ride with you.

Has it been a while or what?!?!?! It's been so crazy here at the Sager household. With work, school, work, the holidays, work, sports (real big here in the south -ROLL TIDE!!!), it has been hard for me to log on much.

Just finally listened to DIS podcast and heard one of the guys say that they feel Disney will offer a fall-winter incentive come January that is even better than the buy 4 get 3 more...that would be sooo great for us! Not sure if we would do Sep/Oct or Nov/Dec...will wait to see what comes up...

Anyone else thinking about/planning a trip next fall or winter?

What a great idea Marshay! How does Sept 19-26, 2009 sound? That's when we have our reservations for next year. It would be so wonderful to get to meet some of you.

Sorry I've been tied up lately, and YES I am planning our next Disney trip although sweet Miss Vickie tells me we will attend beach services at Mazatlan first starting Jan. 4th.

I had a small heart attack five weeks ago tonite followed by open heart surgery three weeks ago tomorrow and I am doing GREAT!! I have kept up with the dis all that time - not much else to do - but haven't had enuf energy to type much.

My daughter Elizabeth is also doing very well waiting for another MRI around Christmas to see what is next!

They're going to hate me at work cause I've already missed (will miss) six weeks only to return to tell the other Pharmers that I need time off. Tough life!

I'm very excited!!

There is a potential problem with the umbilical cord not being centered on the placenta...studies are indeterminant regarding the effects...it's possible everything is just fine or she may not be getting as much nutrients as she should be. Right now we are in wait and see mode until our Dec 4th ultrasound. I'll keep you all informed.

Marshay - I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers as well. I'm so eager to see some new pics of the baby!

If I might, I would like to make one request from those lucky ones. My wife collects the little 12" plush Minnie Mouse toys. It would be a real surprise if she were to get one of these for Christmas. She has a Pirate one and one from MNSSHP 2008. It didn't see where any of you were going to MVMCP. If anyone of you could find a Christmas one or any other one and send it to her I would greatly appreciate it. I would fully reimburse any expenses of course. Let me know if this is possible and I'll provide you with the shipping and payment details.

At the u/s last week, baby is measuring at 57% (average for this week is 50%) so this is great news! Doc says that the misaligned umbilical cord is obvsiously not affecting her nutrition.

I've been so busy lately. I've gone back to working those horrible rotating 12 hr shifts. I've only had time to do a little lurking.

We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge of course! We absolutely fell in love with the place!

I'm so happy that the baby is coming along just fine. We're expecting a baby in couple of weeks, except it's a good bit smaller and a tad bit more fuzzy! I'll provide pics as soon as she arrives.

The main reason we go in September (besides the free dining ) is because of the small crowds. Besides the one day at Epcot, the crowds and lines were virtually nonexistent. We rode Kali River Rapids 4 times with out getting off the ride. We finally did so because we were SOAKED!

It was supposed to be the 4 of us on the ToT, but DW and DS chickened out after we were buckled in. I guess the CM was just being a typical GREAT CM and was giving us the dream of a lifetime! When we bought the pic, the manager was so excited for us. He said that it was a very rare opportunity to get to ride it alone! Yay us!

Sorry to hear about those 12 hr shifts again...hopefully you can while away your time on DIS!

Wilderness Lodge -- very cool!! We were there once and want to go back and stay at the DVC side next...hmmm, maybe... Found out that DH's niece is going to be married in October in Houston, TX (even though she lives about 20 minutes away from me). So now I'm bummed if that has to become our vacation next year...would much rather do Disney!

So is your "baby" a puppy or a kitten? Somehow I'm thinking puppy...can't wait to see pics.

Love the pic of you guys on Splash Mountain, too! We went in Sept 07 and although it was not "summer months" crowded, I was really surprised by the crowds...lines were only 20 minutes at most rides, some less but it felt crowded -- and no rides where we got to ride the cars by ourselves...

Of course that trip was our first time with a toddler (DD was 26 mos) so I guess she slowed us down a lot too. Now that I think about it more that probably accounts for why we didn't do as much more than the crowds...

I'd thought I'd share a pic of our yard for Christmas...we haven't put up decorations before but last year I went a little crazy at the after-Christmas sales...

Then DH says, you know, I wouldn't mind if we get a Santa Mickey!

So I immediately took him up on that offer! I'm usually the Mickey person, not him.

I took at dusk so obviously it's better at night but I think you get the gist of it.
