The Adventurosity Club

Just a quick note to say we are home ... now I'll just go back in the corner for a while and cry a bit...:sad2: 10 days is certainly not enough...

OK, now that I'm ready to face reality --

We had a fabulous time. Weather was perfect. No rain at all. Crowds were very manageable but each day was getting busier...you could tell it's getting closer to summer.

I feel extremely blessed to have spent a wonderful vacation in a magical place with my daughter who was just super-cool and fell in love with Disney, my DH who said he had a really great time & thanked me for planning a fabulous trip; and my parents who were able to share most of the trip with us and spend time with their grand-daughter.

I swear, each trip is better than the last!
Marshay! I got a postcard in the mail from you today.... thank you so much.... that was so thoughtful.

Hello! Welcome home, Marshay!

I know I haven't had a chance to catch up on the last few pages of comments yet, but I had to pop in to say hi! I get on a plane in less than 9 hours for my first official CMO trip! I will definitely get back in here sometime over the weekend to fill you all in (again, sorry that I don't have a computer to take with me!)

As of now, Tuesday will be mostly prep work (a stop in costuming, media training, etc.). Wednesday I'll be up bright and early (out the door at 5:00 a.m.) for a day filled with press events for Toy Story Mania! as well as a magical moment later in the day at Epcot. Thursday morning will be back at Disney's Hollywood Studios for some more Toy Story Mania! events and then I'll be off to the Magic Kingdom for some special surprises. Friday morning I start at Disney's Animal Kingdom for an early morning magical moment or two and then sadly I have to fly home Friday night. I can already tell it is going to go WAY too quickly!

See you all when I'm back home and at a computer!

I'm so glad you had a magical time! Thank you so much for the postcard. What a pleasant surprise. We were excited to know that you ate at Le Cellier. One of our favorites. Did you have the Chocolate Moose? It's delish! Yummo!!

Hey all...just wanted to let you know that Tripp is well and super busy with work and DJ'ing weddings...many weddings to prep and work at. He wishes to pass along a big "HELLO" to all.

I thought it would be cool if we could get everyone to text him while he is at work. This is the Text mailbox for work that he receives between 10am-3pm.

Send today if can or maybe plan for it tomorrow. Perhaps the same message like "You are missed at the DIS" or "Hi, from your DISfamily"

Any thoughts?

I think that sounds like a great idea. I don't have text, don't know how to text, etc. ,but I hope he gets lots of them!

Just thought of another thing to text to make it official Radio business. This is a song that Star94 will play and it isn't in rotation right now...meaning I haven't really heard it recently.

John Mayer - "Why Georgia"

Seems fitting and all and we'd know he got our messages.

the Chocolate "Moose" is now one of my favorite desserts at WDW!!

Thanks! I probably won't update the TR too much until I get my photos sorted through to help tell the story!

I'm glad everyone got the postcards -- it was fun to do and I wish I had everyone's address at the time to send to all. If you didn't get one, it's only b/c I didn't have your address. Thanks to Amy for providing me an advanced copy so I could type out the addresses ahead of time!:goodvibes

Will Do! :)

Just wanted to clarify that texting is from your cell phone. Most cell phones have the capability, but it may cost you $0.10 if you don't have a free plan...but texting is always possible.

Since you were the second person that mentioned it I wanted to make sure you all knew what I meant.

By the way....WELCOME BACK!!!!!

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the EE video. I think it has to be my favorite ride in all of WDW!

cherbear - It wasn't too hard holding onto the camera. I have a miniDV that is really small. The strap can be tightened so that it fits real snug into my hand. When I go in September, I'll give RnR a try. I have a couple of more ride videos that I'll try to post later.

Mrs.F - My DD actually was in the video. She was at the very beginning but for only a split second. She was the girl in the red shirt with all of the pins around her neck. She sat in the car in front of us and you can see a little of her shirt during the video.

 can't wait to see it! Though..I'll be in Disney about the same time as you so I'll be riding it myself!! :woohoo:

I had an odd dream last night that had Miss Stitch and Mrs. Fleagle in it - thought I would share it with you (or at least what I can remember!).

I had a dream that Miss Stitch lived down the street from me at the end of a cul-de-sac, but she looked like Mrs. Fleagle. I kept asking her why she looked like Mrs. F, and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about (in an English accent, of course). She also just had a baby, and was always holding it every time I saw her.

Then we were on a cruise ship, with Miss Stitch (aka Fleagle) always holding her baby. I don't know where our ship was going, but we were in the middle of the ocean. And I don't think it was a Disney ship, either. Bummer.

That's all I remember - weird, I know! Just thought I would share!!

Aren't dreams the funniest things? I've had some really strange ones myself but this one has to be one of the funniest ones I've heard for awhile.

I've been known to have some weird dreams, and I always remember very specific details from them (like Stitch living in a cul-de-sac). I used to keep a dream journal, but I can't remember where I put it. I would like to have them analyzed someday, just to see if they mean anything.

Well, I DO like babies and we just found out we're expecting #5.

Kidding! Gotcha! :rotfl2:

In a total topic departure - just wanted to inject a message about one of my OTHER interests:

Professional Bicycle Racing!

Most of you have heard of the Tour de France, a 3-week race during the month of July. But did you know that Italy also has a 3-week stage race, and that it is going on right now?

The Giro d'Italia is an impressive competition, and I love following it every day. If you have any interest in finding out about it, start with the Wikipedia article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giro_d'Italia

Then, if you want to learn more, PM me or email at cathie@cathie1.com - I'd love to share what I know about this race, and pro racing in general!

Now, back to your regular programming...:)
