Just got back from another weekend away and thought id drop in.
Havent got caught up yet (only read the last page or 2) and had to ask why no one mentioned the DisUnplugged Podcast??

Oh Yeah, told DW on Fri that maybe we can get down to the World for Dec 11-18 to go to Mousefest and do Toy Story Mania with the DisUnplugged for 2 hours on the 13th (They have rented out the ride after hours!)
Needless to say she was pleased......

How exciting! I need a WDW fix in the worst way. When times are tough WDW is always the answer to the problem. Wish we were all independantly wealthy and could go all the time.

Ok, so I had to share this with all of you -- I knew my DIS buddies would understand the most ---

I've been dreamed!!!
Yes, it finally happened to me -- in the Year of a Million Dreams, I got an official dream!!

And what's really cool, is that this is my very first Mickey Ears!! Like the real kind!!

Now I haven't told you the bestest part yet!
I got these Mickey ears in the mail -- but they were not from Disney.

Heather (Circusgirl) actually received them in the mail and in her INCREDIBLE generosity and exemplary Disney spirit, she so kindly bestowed them on me.

WOW!!

Heather wrote this wonderful letter on Polynesian Resort letterhead even (!) and obviously she filled the box with all kinds of Disney magic and Pixie Dust because I immediately felt like a little kid living out a fantasy! And now I so can't wait to go back to Disney again -- I thought I had it bad before -- that was nothing!

So once again, Heather, these 2 words cannot express my appreciation, joy and excitement but they are completely sincere: THANK YOU!

I LOVE the "Dream" Mickey Ears!! How cute!! I can't believe those are your first Mickey Ears! Congratulations!! And very sweet of Circusgirl to send them to you!

Awwww....I'll be wishing all of you guys were with me!! It would be GREAT to have all of you as my guides!!

As much as we are splurging on this trip, we're too cheap to pay $10/day for internet. But I have heard from several different sources that there is free wi-fi in the parking lot at WWOS. I'll see if I can log on and post some pics of DH at the RPDE Wednesday morning!! If not, then I know that SIL's husband has one of those cell phone card thingys that give you access anywhere, and I'll see if I can hijack his laptop for a bit.

Soooooooo happy for you...... ........... really.....not envious at all......... .......not at all (well, maybe a teeny tiny bit envious)

See, as I have mentioned, incessantly, my DH is just not a huge Disney fan like you and when you were the one who actually suggested to your wife that you go and do the Mousefest and DisUnplugged.....well, oh my. That is just almost too good to be true.

My DH actually has reiterated yet again that although he is okay with going over Christmas, he really does not want to go again for a while. He would rather go to a beach or do some other kind of vacation next time........ SOME OTHER KIND??!!

I will say that he at least supported me booking this trip and he made the cutest presentation to the kids to let them know we were going (Christmas paper and Disney characters telling them to go out and wish on a star to get to go to Disney World over the Christmas holiday).

Wow, I feel like I am at a Disney Addict Anonymous meeting or a therapy session.... Thanks for listening. All this because 3Guys gets to ride Toy Story Mania after hours with his family. Hey, want a new aunt for the kids????

I know what I am going to do now....watch my Disney planning DVD....and finish planning my trip....one night when we are there the Magic Kingdom is open until FOUR AM!!! On New Years Eve Hollywood Studios is open until Three AM! Very excited by this information! Do you think I have a chance of getting on Toy Story Mania at 3 in the morning during the peakest of seasons???

Oh, and I did make the Disney Park Celebration Tour video on their site (I am the second person and stumble over my own tongue with every word because I was soooo excited to be there with all the Disney Castmembers around me):

A meet would be great....if we go.
Right now we have ressies on hold thru Dreams Unlimited for POR.
BUT.......
This all hinges on getting on the TSM list!!!
Apparently, only those that were DU clients BEFORE the announcement of TSM are guaranteed to be on the list.....bummer.
The only reason I agreed to this trip was due to the announcement of TSM which I felt was a great reason.
Otherwise, we had agreed not to go this year and would use the money NOT spent to go towards a DVC contract.
I will know more on Oct 30 after 9pm.
The ressie hold is good to Nov 6 so thats a plus.

Pixie dust needed that I can type fast enough to fill out the 4 forms required before it fills up as I'm a 2 finger typer.
