Thank's BTM. I wish I would have known about this place earlier. I could have put it in my trip report. I work with several people that live in that area. I'll have to get some info on this place and go visit myself.

I hope Disney doesn't find out about this. They seem to be pretty ruthless about people using their copyrighted material. Check out this news article -Disney sues Lake County business over use of Pooh, other characters.

Hi all! Sorry for the long absence, but I have lurked and kept up. There were so many stories of bad luck several weeks ago, I got kind of scared, but I have caught up with y'all in the bad luck department.

My story about Elizabeth, my 41 year old daughter who was in Disneyland all week with eight other people, has a happy ending.

Elizabeth had a lump on her right side below her ribs and she threw a bad score on liver function. When the CT came back weird, they did a biopsy and discovered a five pound 8 inch long malignant tumor growing in her liver. Two more days at Univ Washington in Seattle scared the you know what out of all of us!! Tuesday last the U called, said she has 26% of her liver left so that they can do surgery to remove the cancerous portion of her liver in a six hour surgery July 31st. She is so lucky- the tumor is encapsulated, but there is no explanation for it. There is usually chirrosis (sp) or hepatitis in a diagnosis of PRIMARY liver cancer, but not in her case. Primary liver cancer starts in the liver. Liver cancer usually is spread to the liver from another organ.

Appreciate your thoughts on Thursday the 31st. Love and miss you. Dav-odd

Very scary! Please don't pray for me or Elizabeth - please pray for the surgeons! Remember E is my only child and her daughters (the ones in my video) are 10 and 12 now.

Sending good thoughts your way David. I've got a lot of faith in the docs at U-Dub... they are some of the best in the country. I hope all works out well.

Special thoughts headed your way and one enormous HUG!

Hey, Dave! Many good thoughts, wishes and prayers for everyone involved.

Psst......anyone there? Did we forget to pay the power bill? Seems the lights are out and it is getting a bit chilly in here. Not good for Mrs. Fleagle you know, I have that "cold induced urticaria" thing. (Really, I do) ::yes::

Want to have a happy thought? Remember when we'd go to the computer first thing in the morning and see that we had four or five pages to catch up on? How about roller skating in the basement? Remember when the board was a flood of activity and super late nights....or early days? Ahhh....just felt like taking a moment to reminisce. :surfweb:

I miss all the fun, but I'm glad the board is still creeping along.

Good times! :teeth: Great to hear from your Mrs. F!

Now, where is that adopted son of yours? I do believe he has three of the Skinnies in his possession by now!

Well, since I'm here all by myself I guess I could post some pics of a couple of friends I had come and visit my family a while back.

Look, I got a pic of someone enjoying the pool.
IMG_2534.jpg

Mickey wanted to join in the fun. He couldn't get too close to the water because he was afraid to get too wet. He did get to enjoy the water fall though.

Mickey got a little hungery watching Dory so he decided to grill some chicken.

Here's one last picture of him sitting by the pool with a couple of old friends.

:woohoo: Miniature Mickey! YAY!!! :woohoo: 'Looks like he had quite the "family" reunion! (Funny, too, 'cuz I just mentioned the Skinnies in a previous post without knowing that Mickey was about to make another appearance! :thumbsup2 )

Meanwhile, I'm sure that Ann will be happy to see Dory once she checks in again!! :thumbsup2

Oh, don't have a lot of time right now ... will get back on later...but wanted to leave you all with this

:cool1:  :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2:

:teeth:

Most excellent!!!

Details! I'm hoping for some details! (Of course, since I'm playing catch-up after returning home from our family vacation, I'm guessing I'll know specifics in just a few seconds....)

Hey, stopping by for a drive-by post to confirm, that yes, I am pregnant!!!

For those who know/care, my HCG count was 641 (which is nearly 2x what my same HCG count was for my DD). This does not automatically mean multiples...

I go back for another blood test on Friday and Monday and as long as my HCG count doubles or more each test, then we're looking really good. We'll have an ultrasound in about 2 weeks to check out how many sacs/heartbeats.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Please keep us posted!!!! (I know you will... ;) )

Speaking of MIA, where is everyone? (Ann, HMF, Disgeeks, Wotruba-disney, Circusgirl, KigerKat, BTM, Tripp, KTP)

I sure do miss everyone!! I know everyone is busy doing other things during the summer and school is starting back soon, but I have an idea. Let's have a DIS-nee family reunion. If anyone out there thinks this is a good idea, let me know. We could try to plan it maybe sometime after school starts, just not the week of Sept. 20-27. I might have other plans that week. We could reminisce about old times and share with everyone what we did over the summer. What do ya'll think?

'Sorry to be MIA! The DISgeeks family was on vacation, and -- of course -- I devoted the week prior to preparations. (You know how much I just loooooove packing! :faint: ) Anyway, we're back now! It's nice to be missed! :teeth:

Oh, and as for the virtual DIS-nee Family Reunion: You pick the date and time, and I'm there!! ::yes::

When you do, I think you should borrow the DIS-nee Family 'Copter so that you can take a quickie trip to the place, then feel free to break in with a brief report on the "We Be Trippin'" thread!! ::yes::

Wow, David! Will do [pray for the surgeons, that is]!

David - I'll be sure to keep you, your family, and the doctors in my thoughts and prayers.

I did receive confirmation that HMF does in fact have Minnie. These pics were actually taken before she left us and traveled to HMF back in MAY. Believe it or not, but I too have been extremely busy the last several weeks.

It's good to see you had a great vacation and made it back safely!! Of course we expect more pics, especially any from WDW.

MARSHAY - We haven't heard any news from you yet today. I hope the results are still positive!!
