Manage the stress, enjoy the grub. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a great holiday! Only a little left before a much deserved Christmas break!

Liesa, I wish you a wonderful break over Thanksgiving and a wonderful holiday with loved ones! And after that a lot of strength to get through the studying and exam! You deserve to do well and then have a fantastic Christmas break!

Thanks for the holiday wishes and cheering on! We had a lovely weekend and I'm ready to pour in 3 days of full time study for Exam #5. Got some fun photos I can share.... But later. Hope you all had delicious meals, quality family time, and some good downtime from work!

We think he was there a good while, as there was a fairly large pile of doo-doos by him.

Or he was just really really scared.....

But up he went, peed a river, and promptly picked up a leaf to munch. I knew it was all golden, as truly sick animals (and people) don't do any of those things.

He pooped all over but saved the pee.? Good to hear he bounced right back.

Long story short, that took the one evening I had to dink around here earlier this week away. Sad day.

I hate when that happens.

Might even be fun to have you all make a little photo scavenger hunt of sorts for me. Anyone wanna throw out a photo challenge for me? Something with a certain letter? Certain theme? Particular shot?[/QUOTE
Test your cleverness and tell me why I posted each of those. Enjoy!

Hmmmm... If I can get my act together I should be able to come up with something. :rolleyes1:idea::scratchin

Speaking of e-friends: Just heard from Pat and Marv. Who had treats at La Cava. :sniff sniff: Without me. Only 11 months to do, and it'll be WITH me!!!

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I am at the bottom of 103 Slowly catching up but still have a way to go.

Great news on the great test results the plans ad only having plane tickets left. We are booked at BCV since I can do it 11 months in advance. Of all the crazy work things I need to be back by the 23rd for a conference we are supposed to be hosting ( again) but as long as I get the time off beforehand I should be good to go. :dancer:

A 5 minute study break to announce:

1) We have another confirmed PeepFest Participant!! Tanya Thomas just booked her room and is pretty sure it's going to work out! It's a growing Party; watch out World!

2) Got an e-mail from Brook saying rooms are now open at AKL. For $350 less! I'M SO TORN!!!!!!!

Do I stay where I am and enjoy the proximity to EPCOT, or make my kids' dream resort a reality? It also gives the opportunity to surprise the kiddos some if I switch. HELP!!!

$350 is some serious money, nearly one air plane ticket. Go with AKL. I promise you, AKL is a fabulous resort!! I love the Boardwalk, but AKL will give the trip even more of a destination feeling. And I have the feeling that the guy who is so reluctant about WDW might love this resort. Who knows, he might be willing to return there some time in the future. ;-)

One more thing I just thought of:

I am seriously toying with the idea of adding a Train Tour on top of MNSSHP. That'll make it easily possible.....

That's a really good question. How many nights is it again? I prefer AKL over Boardwalk, but that's me. Proximity to Epcot is a good thing especially during Food & Wine. Saving $350 though, that is significant. That's a lot of Samples at the F&W kiosks.

I've gotta say, if given the opportunity to do so and at a savings like that ... I'd likely make the AKL my choice. When will you be able to return as a family? When will you get to do the Leisa "dream trip" staying where you want for how long, no matter the cost?? Rob and I would be weighing and measuring all of those thoughts in the mix as well. I say AKL or bust!

Our plan is to move from AoA to *** on the 17th for 3 nights.

Since it is only three nights, I think the advantage of Epcot being close by is not so great. You will not be at Epcot for all of those days. And the bus from Boardwalk to MK and AK was quite a pain in the behind in our experience. So, while you win some, you also loose some. AKL has busses everywhere, but they usually come fairly frequently and don't stop at a ridiculous amount of stops before you get on your way.

I logged in just to weigh in!

I am TOTALLY out of the loop but it sounds like you are mostly at AoA and then 3 nights at BW but now possibly at AKL instead of BW. $350 is a lot. For that, over $100 per night, I would likely switch. If you really plan all those 3 days to be at Epcot or DHS only and the gang is into F&W then yes, it could be absolutely lovely. But if you plan other parks during those days then I would just save the $$. AKL feels so "away" that it is just magical in it's own way.
