The 4th of July

Just wondering how many like myself, will be celebrating the 4th of july in the parks. And also which park!

July 4th is the second busiest day at WDW! My son and I celebrate our birthdays July 2 &3, and we'll never go there again for our birthdays.

I'd recommend you avoid the MK altogether, since they closes it to admission the time we went. They had hit the max occupany by 2 PM, and we left having ridden only 2 things all morning. EPCOT had awesome fireworks (beyond Illuminations), was less crowded (but still crowded...), and we spent a few days mostly swimming. The crowds died down after July 5th...

Thanks for the info. since I will be staying on site I plan on visiting Epcot in the evening, early enough to secure a spot for the fireworks.

DW & I will be there. We have an ADR at Rose & Crown at 8pm.

My DBF and DCousin and I will be in disney for the 4th we will be at MK... I am ready for the crouds and heat

We'll be there also!!! We've gone for the fourth before, and I swore that I would NEVER do it again.. ...now here we are, all booked and ready to go! I also will be at CR, so if Mk gets too crowded, it's a short walk back to sanity!!

My family and I will be there from 7/2-7/7!! Not sure which park but most likely MK---So if you see 2 beleagured adults go trooping by with 5 kids say hi!

Oh we'll be there as we are every year!! Yes it's crowded and yes it's hot but BOY it is FUN!!! The fireworks will blow you away! We are planning on MK fireworks on the 3rd(if they do that again this year) and Epcot on the 4th(we have dinner at the Garden Grill that night woohoo!!) But if it gets really crazy we will back at the hotel on the beach!
We'll be at the Poly July1-9th! Look for us we'll be the ones with only 4 children.

We plan to be at MK on the 3rd for fireworks, after dinner at Ohana's. On the 4th, we plan to stay at the BCV and swim and then have an ADR at Prime Time at MGM and hope to watch the fireworks at MGM! Have a great trip everyone!! This is our first time during the 4th of July, usually go the end of August when it is a little less crowded. Fingers crossed that all goes well with the crowds and heat and humidity.

Jimmiej: That is great, looks like you will be celebrating a 25th anniversary, how wonderful!! We will have had our 17th anniversary 1 week before our trip and our ds will be graduating from 8th grade 2 weeks before our trip, so we hope to do some celebrating while we are there, too. See you at SAB!! I hope you have a great trip and a wonderful cruise. How great!!

we'll be there, at epcot! lunch at Coral Reef with my parents, can't wait!! I'm so nervous because my mother is there for a conference and won't be able to join us until 2 pm - I hope that the park isn't full by then!
