The 30 day Super Pass!

I'm so upset... they were available this morning, and I was running late for work, so I said to myself "buy them when you get home tonight".... well, tonight the link says they are not available at this time.... this stinks!!! my Mom would call it the "Moscow Rule" buy it when you see it, or it may not be available when you go back..... hard lesson learned.

Looks like they've withdrawn the offer for some reason, but unless it's just a temporary glitch ( in which case there should be an explanation), I don't know how they can justify withdrawing it. If the supply was limited they should have said so, but what they said was the offer was valid until next month's newsletter came out. I'm glad we had decided to stick with purchasing AP's because this will certainly make me think twice about buying anything from them.

I would agree with Peachgirl and wait a few days to see if there was a problem and if a solution pops up. Mary seems very trustworthy and I think she would have indicated if it was a limited deal.

Anything we come up with is just speculation - even if there is a problem with Disney and they can't offer the deal for the 30 day passes (I'm still thinking these are supposed to only be for UK residents), mousesavers certainly provides info on TONS of other deals and discounts. Any business can have a glitch with a promotion from time to time. :( Maybe it's best to stick with regular passes (4 day hoppers, etc...)

I wonder if it being posted here had anything to do with it. There are reasons Mary/Mousesavers asks to NOT post in ANY public forum.

Paramount offered it for a short while too. They removed it because it is not for the USA. It is intended for international travelers. I heard that those lucky enoght to get them used them w/o problems at WDW though. I got the 10 day pass.

I was just in paramount's site and they are offering them now.Not sure if it's for international visitors or anyone.

Paramount says this about the Fun in the Sun tickets:

The Florida Fun In The Sun Tickets is valid for thirty (30) days starting with the first day of use at ANY park or attraction. Florida Fun In The Sun This attraction ticket can only be sold in some International Areas. The Florida Sun in the Sun Ticket requires the use of biometrics and may required proof of identification via passport or international driver's license with support photo ID for admission.

I just got an email from Ticket Mania that says...

"The vendor that we can get those tickets from, did not get all of the
contractual details worked out, and we can not get addtional Fun in the
Sun tickets, we are trying to get these details worked out, and at this
time have to time frame for being able to offer them again."

Guess that is a bust too..
:(

Sorry for any confusion but this was from Ticket Mania and not Paramount.

I bought mine from Paramount this afternoon. Called the 800# and the rep didn't say anything about International only purchase, she knows where they are being ordered from and for, because she took my address. From what I understand, the vouchers for the passes do not say anything about "international only".... so I guess I'm taking my chances....I'll let you know how it turns out.

Paramount offers several different types of tickets, including a 6 day and 7 day hopper with character breakfast, the 10 day world pass, and the Fun in the Sun pass. Some of them list specific restrictions, but many have posted that they have been able to buy them and use them without trouble.

The Fun in the Sun with Character Brkfst is listed as $278,
10 Day World Pass with Character Brkfst is $335
7 Day hopper with Character Brkfst $301
6 Day hopper with Character Brkfst $275

Obviously the Fun in the Sun listed is the best buy.

poohlvr,
When are you going to WDW? Let us know how the pass worked out! :teeth:

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I'm going Jan 4th-11th... hope all works out.... I still don't have the actual tickets/vouchers so I'll let you know what happens.

Are these fun in the sun tickets good for park hopping, as in any parks at any time for 30 days. sounds too good to be true. thanks for any info. would these tickets be good for April?

Diane,

They can be used as you would a hopper pass, multiple entry to any park in 1 day only counts as 1 day used from your pass.

The passes are valid too 29th April 03.

Regards

Sean

Goodness! I never intended to stir up controversy. I am NOT a newbie to DIS (I've been around since its inception). I just completely missed the request not to disclose the offer.

Sorry to anyone who was offended at my oversight.
