Now Flyers fans, let's be nice... You have to give Chicago something... They are the home of the Cubs and the Bears.. They deserve a little something every now and then.... You also have to figure, they haven't really had a hockey team for a good 10 years.

My take on the last two games:
Game #1-Flyers scared the beejeezers out of the Hawks. The Hawks thought they were just going to run all over Philly. not the case. Pulling the goalie-Total Crap move. He was the reason we made it this far. Pulling him--total crap. Very disappointed in Flyers Management. It wasn't like he was letting in any more goals than the Hawks goalie. Terd Move!

Game #2-Flyers need to play each period like they did the 3rd.


So far, it has been an exciting two games, and I'm lovin' it (Would be loving it way more if the Flyers had won.. but still loving it!)

GO FLYERS.. I STILL BELIEVE!

You don't always pull a goalie because you think he is playing bad.

If they wanted to send the team a message, they could have pulled some other key players and benched them. They were the ones under-achieving. Send a message to the players who need it. not by using the one who has been standing on his head for the last 2+series

I don't disagree but it the goalie sends a different message to the team. It also protects them.

I totaly agree with that. They were fantastic in the 3rd. Hope they keep the momentum up for tomorrow night.

We do have a few other teams 'round here (like the White Sox and the Bulls) who have won a championship or two in the past 20 years

Whenever you guys want to start listening to me...you will realize that I am NOT blowing smoke up your "you know whats". I am actually talking hockey and being serious about it.

I stated before the series that the key players for the Hawks would be Sharp and Hossa. Throw in Brouwer for good measure. The Sharp line is just outplaying your 2nd line.

The Toews and Richards lines would off set each other and they have. BOTH have played poorly so far.

I also stated...if you score 5...we will score 6
if you score 2 we will score 3. (I know game 2 was a 2-1 final...close enough).
However the way Philly wants to play it..is fine with the Hawks.

The Hawks depth is just too much for Philly to handle.

I do believe this series is going to go 5 games. I think Philly is not going to lose both at home. BUT...if Hawks win game 3, its going to be a sweep.

For selfish reasons...I want this series to go 5 games with the Hawks up 3-1. We will be going to game 5. Its our turn in the ticket rotation between the season ticket partners.

I do think you guys made a big mistake by inserting Carcillo into the line-up. He really does bring nothing to the table.

The fact the the Flyers are playing basically 4 d-men each game is going to start to wear them out. The Hawks are just too fast.

Flyer fans you are fighting with emotional attachment, I get that. King goofy actually made excellent points with his predictions. Flyers are battling and have shown they deserve to be here, kudos. However, they aren't at the level of the Hawks, as the Hawks are too deep. That is not to "cut down" the Flyers, its just true. As has been mentioned, no team has ever beaten 3 100 point teams in the playoffs in one season. People forget how good Nashville was this year. If the Hawks win tomorrow, it will be 8 consecutive road wins, an NHL record.

As for the jab on the Bears and Cubs, when have the Eagles won the super bowl ? It's been awhile for the 76ers and Flyers also. So I don't see that argument. Have fun guys, root for your team, I love the emotion..........but beware of the Kool Aid !

Just drinkin' in the spirit of the game..I mean really..no matter who wins it all, we are all going to wake up to the same lives the next day, no matter how much "kool aid" we indulge in.. tainted or not.
