After too many Molson's in Montreal, we are back home.

Chicago in 6 games to win the cup.

Games 1 and 2 are on NBC...8 EST.

Blah blah blah.....NOT only is the entire fan base of the Yankees and Red Sox full of HOT AIR...so is the Flyer fan base.

Its the Hawks in 5 games.....

1. The Flyers beat a Devils team that was not the same once they acquired Kovalchuk and that team became a mess.

2. The Flyers were down 3-0 AND 3-0 in game 7 to a BAD Bruins teams. (yes kudos to you for not giving up. That goes without saying. ) BUT after you won game #4 i think you had no choice but to win that series.

3. You then beat a worn out Habs team that just got thru two VERY emotional 7 games series vs the #1 and #4 east seeds. (Your are lucky the Habs did you guys a favor BEFORE the East Finals.

The Hawks on the other hand....they are the ONLY team in NHL playoff history that beat 3 teams that had 100+ points in the regular season to get to the finals.

Its the Hawks in 5.

My prediction is this.....Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa are going to be the key players in this series.

Our Toews line and your Richards line are two great lines..."on paper"...these 2 lines will offset each other.

Sharpie and Hossa are MUCH better than your next top 2 forwards.

Dont forget, Sharpie was a youngster when Philly traded him. He will have an outstanding series. He is my "pick to click" this series.

Also....our 3rd line forwards with Bolland, Versteeg and Ladd are also going to dominate.

Remember our 3rd line players names....BOLLAND, LADD AND VERSTEEG. The Richards line will be sick and tired of them by the end of game #2.

Bolland has SHUT down the Sedin Sisters in the Vanc series and agitated the heck out of "No Show Joe Thorton" in the Sharks series.

Of course I admit the Flyers CAN win.....IF the Hawks let them.

I think alot of the Flyer fan base realized....game #1 was your chance. As bad as the Hawks played defensively AND STILL won, thats not good for you guys. Q has always made adjustments AFTER the 1st game of every series.

The way the 3rd period was played in game #1 is how I expect the remainder of the series to be played. The Hawks just have way too much depth and are just so much faster. In fact, there was a play last night that I think it was Brouwer who was about to blow by one of your d-men BUT the Ref got in the way.

I still predict the Hawks in 5...MAYBE 6.
