We were at BC CL in July and thought the breakfast offerings were fine -bagels, croissants, banana bread, muffins, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee etc.

I noticed in the YC CL a refigerated case for sodas -I hope BC adds that, I love to grab a cold can of diet coke to take back to the room!

Diet Coke is my coffee so I am hoping they have the fridge too. I have read that I could ask and a cm would get me one but I would rather not have to bother anyone.

I am so excited. We leave Saturday for the Beach Club. I have never been over there, but all the pictures look great.

Can someone give me some more detail on the campfire and movie? I thought I had read somewhere that you could buy the smores packs? Anyone have any details? Also, does the movie start at 8 (as the picture in post #834 shows) or is this when the festivities begin? Do you need to get there earlier than that to claim a spot? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

When we were there in July the movie started at 9 and the campfire at 8. It might be different now. The kids could buy either smores kits or marshmallows and sticks for the campfire. I forget how much exactly but I think it was $3 for the marshmallows and sticks and $5 for the smores kits.
My kids had a ball!

Thanks for the Movie List, TestTrackBoy!
I'm thinking it means they recirculate those 7 all thru September? Is that right?

Does anyone know if there's a clock visible from SAB? DH is not wanting to take a watch, but if he's going down to swim without me I want him to be able to keep track of time on his own... :)

Great question! I was wondering what area to request too.
We will be walking to Epcot & taking the boat to HWS alot.

If you are walking to Epcot, it is closer to be near the quiet pool and not the main lobby. There is an elevator in the wing closest to Epcot. The boat goes from the lighthouse, which is closest to the Yacht Club - exact opposite of what I mentioned re the walk to Epcot.

So in that case, being near the lobby and the main elevators is probably a good compromise.

It's our first stay at the beach club, as well as our sons first trip to Disney world! My wife and I are both extremely excited due to us not expecting to go this year, but we took a financial risk and just decided to go on the trip to Disney World anyway. Can't beat going to Disney World during the holidays. If any of you have been to the Beach Club during the holidays inform me of how the decor is around this time of the year! Thanks!

TestTrack, thank you for the wonderful pictures!!!

What types of desserts do they usually have in the lounge?

I will check tonight on what desserts they offer. I have a few more pictures of the new rooms. I have to apologize for the quailty of these photos. As you can see there are black dots, this is dust that was on the image sensor of the camera. I didn't notice it till I put them on the computer. I would normally not post these photos but I would like everyone to see the lounge. I hope you enjoy them while I clean my camera out!

Ok, I did a split stay once and swore I would never do it again. :sad2: I also said on another thread that once our reservation is made I never change it. :rolleyes1 Well guess what, it was just changed. :lmao: I am very excited for this trip. Our first half is at the CR MKV/CL and our second half of the trip is for the BC in a Deluxe CL room. I was told by the wonderful CM on the telephone that the Deluxe CL Rooms are water view. I forgot to ask about the balcony. Does anyone know if they have full balcony's or just the little ones that you see with the door? We love a full balcony but hey if we can't get a full balcony, we won't mind as we will be happy just being at the BC. Would anyone happen to have any pictures of the Deluxe rooms? TIA:flower3:

We stayed in a BC Deluxe CL room in July and we LOVED it! We were in room 1557 and had a nice patio and tons of windows. One of the windows faced Crescent Lake and the Boardwalk. Our patio faced the quiet pool (which is considered water view). Anyway I know 2557 and 4557 have huge balconies, 3557 just a standing room one. There are two other deluxe rooms that I know of - the only one I have any information on is 3691 which has two balconies (I think) one large and one standing one. I'm not sure which balcony overlooks Crescent Lake.

We actually loved our deluxe room (1557) we were so close to EPCOT it wasn't funny -and the kids loved being able to run out of room and swim at the quiet pool at night. We liked it so much that if we book a deluxe room next year (please let us get another 7/4 or a 40% off code) DH wants to try and get the same room!

Thanks so much for all the information. I think I will call and add a request for a full balcony. Hopefully with only that request they will be able to grant it. If not, it won't be that big of a deal. I am just really happy that we are staying at the BC. We will have two teenage boys and I thought the deluxe room would be a bit more spacious than the standard CL room. July 2010 can't come soon enough. Thanks again.:flower3:

Actually, I think the s'mores kits are $7, and they make four or five. We packed our own last time.

Cool! Yea, I'm looking forward to this trip -taking my GF who hasn't been to WDW in 15 years! (The horror!). If you do decide to stay CL, I'm easy to spot, I'm 6'6" tall and skinny. Feel free to say hello, it'd be cool to meet another Diser!

Poor thing!! Glad you're taking her!

Everyone in my avatar will be there plus two more. We're pretty easy to spot, too! :rotfl:

July 2010 -that's when we'll be there! What are your dates -we're July 18-August 1!

Can't get here fast enough for me either!!!

There's a clock in the little building where you rent the water tubes. It's right where the sinking sand is.

Sorry about asking this question again, but I'm getting conflicting info.

I have a water view room booked at YC. Do all of these rooms have daybeds, or do I have to request one?

I've read that all of the water view rooms DO have a daybeds at YC, but not at BC.

Hi does anyone have a picture of a renovated deluxe club level room in the yacht club? tia
