Just booked a BCV for November 6-14. I'm excited beyond words. Never stayed there before and am thrilled to get to stay there during the F&W festival. I've got a lot of pages to read . . . but at least it will give me something to do while waiting for 8 long months to pass.

BC is a beautiful resort and the location to Epcot can't be beat! You can get really excited in 8 months

Thanks to mom and dad we were able to book 2 of the 3 rooms on the CL level in May!!! Unfortunately, for the third room with a party of 5 there weren't any more AP level discounted garden view rooms available but that group doesn't mind....anyways, I digress. My question is where is the CL lounge at the BC?

When I booked the rooms I put in a room request( for my parents since one of them can not walk far) to be near the main elevators but the CM said she wasn't sure that could be met so she would put in a request for either "near the main elevators or near concierge lounge" to reduce the amount of walking. Thanks for info!

The lounge is on the fifth floor right off the main and only elevators that go to the fifth floor.

Hmm...not sure what the purpose was of stating both but fingers crossed that my folks get some pixie dust and get their room request. Maybe they will be put as near as possible which would be fine too.

The only elevators that go to the 5th floor (CL Lounge) are activated by CL tickets. If one of the rooms were not CL their keys wouldn't work the CL elevator.

So you can request near main elevators, but not near CL lounge. See what I mean?

We are going next week and have booked a standard studio. Would love to stay CL but just don't have enough points (saving those for our trip in June to BWV). This is just a short trip so our room shouldn't be a big deal but I do have my mother coming along on this trip. She has some joint problems and can't walk long distances and/or for long periods of time. There will be four of us in a room, so we are looking for as much space as possible....

Any suggestions on room requests for location and size? Would it be better to be ground floor and have a patio for sitting outside after my daughter goes to bed? I really have no idea on this one since we've never stayed at BCV. We are really looking forward to our first visit to BCV and my DD can't wait to swim at the pool!

Looking forward to meeting you ... I'm working this Sunday and Monday but then I'm off on a Disney cruise to celebrate my daughter getting her masters degree at night. So if you are coming in on the 14th or 15th, I'll be there. Otherwise, I'm back to work on the 28th.

FYI, the Beach Club Villas don't have CL.

You should make sure you add a request onto your reservation to be close to the main elevators. That should help with your Mom's walking. Have you considered renting her a scooter for the time you are there? No matter where you go at Disney, you know it's lots of walking.

We are staying Beach club for 2 nights then switching to Boardwalk for a week. Can we still watch the movies on the beach after we switch to boardwalk? We are doing a non-park trip so trying to look at all my options. Though we may just go over to the fort one night for the sing along and movie.

BC has a laundry room/building by the quiet pool.

As far as I know it still takes quarters. We are always running to the front desk to get quarters!
