I want a queen theme.

They've sung like 4 queen songs already, why not just bring in Brian May and Roger Taylor! They'd have my eyes glued to the screen for sure.

I'd say rumored themes don't have to be in white. It's not really spoiling anything because we still have no idea what they would be singing. Plus it gives us a chance to do some speculating on what they should sing, which can be fun

TMZ has learned the recording industry has no interest -- at least for now -- in the "American Idol" girls. Their focus is exclusively on two male contestants.

Well-connected record industry sources tell TMZ the major publishers (including Sony and Warner) have already set their sights on David Archuleta and David Hernandez. The record publishers have already told their songwriters to write songs specifically for David-squared, whether they win or not.

Sources say this is the earliest publishers have even committed to the contestants.

This thread is getting close to time when it will have to close due to length (250 page maximum)

We are about 34 pages away, which we can go through in no time flat during a telecast.

What I would like to know from you guys is - would you rather let it run to the 250 page limit and take the risk that it will have to get locked in the middle of a telecast

Do you guys want me to lock this thread on Monday and we start fresh with a "Top 12 American Idol" thread with no interruptions?

Since so far its unanimous, what I'll do Monday morning is lock this thread where it's at, catalog it up on the sticky thread and start a top 12 thread with the link to this thread in the first post. In the meantime, you guys have 34 pages to play with
