Tonight I thought wed be savaged by the 70s but instead it was a partially brilliant, partially boring event. Heres my take on the top 10 guys.
Michael Johns Looking back, I always felt I didnt remember much about the 70s. Getting married, having kids sort of sucks all that out of you. But this group managed to find some of my favorite songs and his choice of Go Your Own Way was one of them. He had a rather shaky start. Shaky as in his voice was shaking. Was it nerves or just a lack of ability? I think it was the latter. He also changed the tempo which didnt work for me at all. Im another one who does not see what all the Hoo Haa is about this guy. David Cook All Right Now I dont really know if I like this guy or not. His voice is OK, really better than just OK and his guitar playing ability was impressive but he just doesnt MOVE me. Add on to that the whiney comments after he sang and I was less than pleased. He got a

David Archuleta Imagine Imagine this show was over tonight. David would be the winner. Seriously, whats not to like about this kid? Hes adorable. Girls want to marry him, mature women want to adopt him. He seems like a really nice person. And lastly, he has the voice of an angel. I was worried when I saw he was doing a John Lennon song but it was magnificent. I actually had goosebumps and, hey, he made Paula cry. So what else could you give someone who does those things?
