Thanks for posting that list of themes from each season, Mandy! It's interesting to see which themes have been used every year, and some of the themes that were only used once. It's interesting that Country's been used every year, even though Simon hates it. Maybe it's just because it's different than a lot of the themes that are used?

Haha, that's true... For some reason that song sounds to me like something that could have been from the 1940s...I don't know why, but it does. Anyway, how "old" something seems is really relative anyway.

yeah i don't know why they did that. i LOVED hearing what the contestants picked early on for themselves. this is kind of boring. and i KNEW as soon as i heard they were doing themes that Simon was going to bust out with the "well it sounded old fashioned"........NO KIDDING!
