Asiah made me cry too. She blew me away. I think she dfinitely has what it takes and I'm not talking a sad, tragic story. I think she has the looks and talent and just seemed like someone who could actually become the next American idol.

The beauty queen was too annoying...another Pickler maybe? She was too much. But she could sing, darn it.

I thought josiah was one odd character. I liked him. he was very likable tonight. His accent thing was wild. I kept saying he did not sound like he was from Morristown, TN! I hope he does well.

The nurse chick was something else. She'll add a lot of spice this year if she makes it and I think she has a very good chance of going far.

The girl who had the crush on Simon...she was dead serious wasn't she? My gosh, I am happy I found out I could not sing back in 5th grade when my choir leader almost fell off (laughing!!)the piano bench when he was having us try a solo. Otherwise, I could have been seen on AI making a fool of myself! LOL

I agree with you all - Asiah brought tears to my eyes and I think she is really good.

Also liked the Josiah kid.

That beauty queen girl (Brooke I think) is from my area. Not a good representation!

Pretty good show last night.

Josh, one of the first singers, had a nice voice but can he win AI facing backwards?

JP, the guy who sat near Carrie 3 years ago, was a no from me and the judges.

Then there was Asia. We hear a lot of sad stories on this show but hers is the first one that really got to me. Got to Paula too. :sad1: I really thought that girl could sing!

Brooke, Miss Florida Fair, reminded me of the girl in Grease who was Miss Popularity. Too cutsie for my taste but she did have a nice voice.

Amanda the biker chick nurse was the best of the night. Her Janis song was more like an impersonation but the second song she sung was her own. Can't wait to see more of her!

Josiah, the kid who lives in his car was terrific. He was the surprise of the night for me.

And the are you kidding me moment was Eva. Her fall was the best part of her audition. :sad2:

Yippee, tonight's the end of the auditions!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I have to say, I just LOVE when the camera zooms in on Simon's face!:lovestruc :cloud9:

I think Somon has hugged more people this season, than he has his whole life!:rotfl2:

I too liked the guy who lived in his car. I've already looked at the list of the top 24 so I know who has already made it, unfortunately.

Out of the top 24 - 11 have either been on a TV show, reality show or has had a recording contract that failed.

Glad that tonight is the last of the auditions - well, last night was the last night, tonight it sounds like it's either a recap of all the auditions or they are going to show us more bad auditions.

On to next week and Hollywood.....................................

OMG, Simon makes me laugh. :rotfl: He's great.

The only thing I don't like about Simon is his low cut shirts. :lmao: But he is definately growing on me and I love his smile! :thumbsup2

Yes.. I really liked Danny. He was really getting into it. I was giggling along with Randy. :thumbsup2

Yay for the end of the auditions. Finally, Hollywood round is coming.

aw, i missed this week as i was out of town due to a family event. i will be back on track for hollywood auditions next week though....

Anyone else psyched that the singers will get to branch out and play their own instruments this year? I'm really thinking that we may be in for one of the best seasons yet! Of course, the final 24 will really be a big determining factor...
