The 2008 American Idol Thread.....

I too liked the guy who lived in his car. I've already looked at the list of the top 24 so I know who has already made it, unfortunately.

Out of the top 24 - 11 have either been on a TV show, reality show or has had a recording contract that failed.

Glad that tonight is the last of the auditions - well, last night was the last night, tonight it sounds like it's either a recap of all the auditions or they are going to show us more bad auditions.

On to next week and Hollywood.....................................

I'm willing to bet they get more pre approved contestants based on agent participation than not... it's pretty obvious.

This was a total shocker to me - I did not see that comin'!!! Anyway, it's due to open at DHS late 2008.



So, who was everyone's favorite for this year's auditions? Personally my top five were Renaldo Lupez ("I Am Your Brother"! ), Alexis Cohen (Take it, take it take it! I'm going out for actre-actressing! ), James Lewis (Let my people gooooo!), Sarah Whitaker (that laugh was just hysterical and creepy), and and Michelle & Jeffrey Lampkin (they were entertaining, fun to watch, AND they can actually sing!).

Anyone else psyched that the singers will get to branch out and play their own instruments this year? I'm really thinking that we may be in for one of the best seasons yet! Of course, the final 24 will really be a big determining factor...

They were allowed to play instruments this year in Canadian Idol. I thought it made a huge difference.
