Tonight was pretty good. I sprinkled a few votes here and there. Amanda was absolutely painful to listen too and I'm disappointed that Simon didn't rip her to shreds for her butchering of that song.

Also Brooke White looks like French Stewart...watch when she squints!

It is QUITE possible that Simon doesn't even know that song. Really. It isn't his style of music.

yes there were some great songs that came out in the 70's Paula, but they're not singing any.

I'm glad I'm not having to hear this bunch butcher Bob Seger (my fav artist of the 70s- not that there's many; I'm more an 80s-now music gal).

But the songs they've got so far are mostly lame. A few decent ones.

tonight was awful. The guys did much better then the ladies, and that isn't saying a whole lot.

I would like to see Syesha, Ramielle, and Asia’h stay for the top 6 because I do think they do have some talent.

I also would like to see Carly, Amanda and Brooke in the top 6 girls. Not because I think they would win but they add some color to an otherwise very boring group of girls.

I would like to see Kady and Alaina go tomorrow. Alaina because she butchered Hopelessly Devoted to You and Kady because she always has a snot look on her face!

I live near Nashville, about an hour and a half on a good day. The Opry does a winter run at the Ryman, and there is this alley that runs where all the celebrities go and I've went with some friends and met some of the celebrities that have done the Ryman. The group picture I saw them at a local music venue in Nashville and the other one was taken on a tour bus. The one who looks like Donny Osmond is Chuck Wicks who sings Stealing Cinderella.

How interesting. I remember as kid going to Nashville and visiting the Ryman. They let me up on the stage and I remember thinking how awesome that was and I'd better remember how it felt to standing on a stage where so much talent has stood!
Well, he really looks like Donny in that photo.

I have a friend in Nashville who plays for Reba when she tours.

I love the Ryman, it's one of my favorite venues. The acoustics are amazing. I missed seeing Kellie and Carrie there both at the Ryman along with Phil and Bucky. The only Idol I have ever seen there was Kelly when she did her tour there.
