The 1st place you ever ate at WDW was....

First TS meal? We never did them as a child... I don't remember doing them even once.

I would say with DH ~ and our first TS meal was..... at Capn' Jacks :)

Hmmm....my first meal was a Character breakfast, it was on a boat in Downtown Disney in maybe 1998? Does anyone remember that boat?

My next meal I remember well....2003 with my husband for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern~we loved our meal!!

Can't remember where we ate in the 70's.
When we went in the 80's I remember eating at Coral Reef dinner, Ohana breakfast, Luau (back when they had great mai tais), and Top of the World (now known as California Grill).

the Diamond Horseshoe Revue back in 77(i think)..the only sit down meal I remember that we had in the parks....

The first meal I can recall at WDW was at Columbia Harbour House in 1989, I was 5 and i had chicken strips. But my first trip was 1987 and i don't know where we ate LOL

This is easy. Papeete Bay Verandah, September 1975. I had an appetizer of scallops in a sour cream/coconut/lime sauce, and the Pigs N' Prawns entree. All washed down with a couple of Seven Seas cocktails, of which we still have the souvenier glass. And while we ate we watched several sets of a hula dancer and a 3-piece Hawaiian combo entertaining.
Now THAT was a meal!!

We would stay back when it first opened @ the CR we ate in the CR don't remember the name of the resturant.
also we we eat at from what I can remember.
The Top of the World
HDDR
Luau
Tangora Terrace
Plaza Always for lunch
Empress Lilly
CP
Back when I started to go it was only the CR, Poly then came the Disney Inn.
They were fun days.

and what year was it? for extra Credit what do you have to eat?

Mine was 1995 at Coral Reef. I had Alligator Sausage for a starter and then Red Snapper for main cource. Had this older server from Vietnam named Phiu who to this day (17 trips) is the best and most Friendly server we have had.

What is this extra credit and what do we have to do to achieve it???

Our 1st Meal was the Cape May Buffet Clam Bake and we LOVED it!!! the night we arrived at WDW... then went over to EMH at Epcot - it was an incredible 1st night... :)

Thanksgiving week 1984 - I was 15: LTT - family style dinner with turkey & corn bread & stuffing &...

1996
Artist Point Character Breakfast
Family Style, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatos...etc.

LTT for lunch. We weren't even sure it was a restaurant when we walked up. This was in April (Easter Week) 2003 before ADRs were so important. We were seated right away and my family still talks about that meal. We never expected something so nice in an amusement park. We now go there every visit. I had the salad with the strawberries...it was great!

Can you go to the following places-- Hollywood and Vine, Liberty Inn, and Chef Mickey's Dinner:rotfl2: :rotfl:

Haw! None of those are exactly my favorites, but I don't wish ill on them, either.

Now, I do have some minor issues with the ABC Commissary, but I'm sure there are folks around who've had OK experiences there. Our last visit there was pretty rough, and I'm not hard to please.

We also ate there on our honeymoon, and if I recall, the server gave my wife a hibiscus for her hair. They also used to have a Sunday brunch that was the stuff of legends.

A few posters have mentioned the Empress Lily. We did a character breakfast there, and it might've been the only character breakfast on property in those days. I recall eating in the Empress Room on another visit, and it was such an over-the-top experience that I ran out of adjectives trying to tell others about it. It was a definite forerunner to V & A's in its day. That domed ceiling, gold leaf everywhere ... man.

Our first TS meal was in 1982 at the Poly. I think the name of the restaurant at that time was "The Coral Isle Cafe", which is Kona Cafe now. I had Tonga Toast and that's about all I can remember about that and the fact that it was delicious.
