That's the Second Biggest Double Stroller I've Ever Seen- A Dec 2010 TR

My heart melted when I saw this photo...what a cutie.

Great update, Kate.

I can't believe it's over.... :(

I had the same thoughts when I saw the Dooney's last fall. Every store we went by I drooled over them. I have a few Coach purses..but I just could't justify such a big purchase on vacation.

But I kept dreaming of it...so to offset the cost... I waited until disneystore.com had them on sale! And at Christmas you could get an additional 25% off...PLUS free shipping! OH! And if you shop through Ebates...you get 5% cash back!!!! It wasn't "cheap" by any stretch of the imagination...but I use it everyday. It strikes up many conversations, and makes me smile every day when I pick it up.

I love how Carter has a ride dance! I wonder if he will still do that when you go back? :cool1:

LOL, loved the Dooney and Bourke conversation...they are so expensive, but so pretty! :lovestruc

EW what a creepy Vinylmation!! I'm glad you traded for another one before you left! :thumbsup2

So sad your trip is over, but yay, you're going back so soon! :cool1:

Thanks! He sure has a great smile, doesn't he? :goodvibes

Awww, the vacation is over. :sad1: At least you have another one next month!

That's true. I'm getting really excited about that trip! :woohoo:

Which Dooney bag did you get? They're all so beautiful. It's nice to be able to get a good deal on them. I'm sure they don't go on sale often. It's funny how so many DIS people have one, but you seldom see other people around town with them. :rolleyes1

It's over! WAHHHHHHHHH! I don't WANT it to be over!

So when are you starting your PTR for May? :cutie:

I still have one or two more posts I'm planning on writing before wrapping up this TR. Just a few loose ends. I'll probably start the May PTR after I finish those. Probably sometime next week.

I love how Carter has a ride dance! I wonder if he will still do that when you go back? :cool1:

I sort of hope he still does the ride dance when we go back. It's pretty cute. And it's fun to ride with someone who shows so much enthusiasm. :rotfl:

The Dooney & Burkes are pretty, aren't they? I'm sure they're worth the expense.

It is coming up soon, isn't it? So much to do...:yay:

Oh what a horrible way to end your trip! Poor Carter...poor you...

I'm glad at least that you were able to make it home, and it wasn't on one of your park days.

I am so sad that your trip ended on a negative note. Do we have Bob Evens to blame for this vacation downer?

As horrible as it was, I do think it would have been worse to be sick at Disney. Then we'd be miserable and we'd know we were missing out on all the fun.

I am so sad that your trip ended on a negative note. Do we have Bob Evens to blame for this vacation downer?

No, I think Bob Evans is blameless. When I got home, I saw a thread on here about how many people got the stomach flu at Disney in early December. Apparently, it was going around, and we were just unlucky.

Yuck, not a fun way to end your trip. I hope you both recovered quickly.

Carter actually recovered faster than I did. It's amazing how resilient he and Landon are.

Oh no! Endings are hard enough, but add you and Carter getting sick and that makes it just plain miserable!
I'm sorry that your Disney trip had to end like that. :guilty:

I'm also sorry that your TR has ended! I really enjoyed reading it, and if you do one for your trip in May, I will most certainly follow along!:thumbsup2

Oh soo sorry to read about the horrible end to your amazing vacation. What a downer.

Oh wow, I'm so sorry about the drive home... that's awful. On the bright side, at least you guys didn't get sick while you were at the parks.

I like the Muppet Vinylmation a lot better than the werewolf thing, or whatever it was. :thumbsup2

I absolutely love your last evening tradition of fudge and soaking in the atmosphere on Main Street. It gave me goosebumps just reading it... I can't wait to be there myself.

What a terrible end to a great vacation! But at least you didn't get sick at Disney. I enjoyed your TR so much and can't wait until all of your upcoming adventures. The boys are so cute and give me hope for my own crazy boys.

I really enjoyed reading along on your tr. Sounds like you had a wonderful trip minus the car ride home. At least it was on the way home and not the way there....My DD 5 at the time decided to get sick the evening before we were to leave and all night and the 1st day in the car on the way to WDW. We have learned to pack extra clothes and bowls that seal shut...:rotfl:

I'm so sorry you guys got sick on the way home. It must have been just awful to know that Carter felt so sick, but have to keep driving :sad1:

I'm glad that you made it home before you were sick!

It does sound like you had some nice last moments in the park before the illness struck, having fudge on your last night is a great tradition! Its hard to be very sad when you are eating fudge.

I have the Dooney sketch purse also, and I think it was totally worth the investment. I asked for Disney gift card for my birthday and Christmas from my family, and then used them to buy the purse.

I did the same thing this year, and I'm planning on buying one of the 40th anniversary prints. I think I'm going to get the letter carrier, because I can see it as being a great park bag when Everett gets a little bigger and I'm not tied to a diaper bag. The sketch purse is pretty large, so I don't want to get the same thing, and I really like the wallet, but for the same price I could get the letter carrier. Decisions, decisions.

Maybe you could ask for one of the dooney's for Mothers Day! You can tell your DH that I think you deserve it! :rotfl:

It was one of the worst endings to any of our trips. Hopefully, we won't be able to top it on any of our upcoming adventures. :rotfl:

I'm thinking I will do a TR for May and I would be very happy to have you follow along. :)

Oh soo sorry to read about the horrible end to your amazing vacation. What a downer.

It was a bad ending to the vacation. I do have an epilogue still coming up, so I'm not going to end the TR with us getting sick. That would be too much of a downer. :rotfl:

Isn't that awful? It seemed very surreal at the time. You know, you read about stuff like that happening on Disboards, but you never really think it will happen to you. :rotfl:

I'm really glad I managed to get the Muppet Vinylmation instead of the other one. Vinylmations can be really cute, but some of them really aren't. :scared1:

Thanks! We started that tradition on our honeymoon and for us, it's the perfect ending to our trips. I think I'd be really disappointed to end a trip anywhere else, now.

That's true, it would have been worse to be sick while at Disney and miss out on all the fun.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I sure loved writing it. :)

Thanks! Except for the car ride home and Carter's arm injury, we did have a wonderful trip. Getting sick on the way to Disney, that would be terrible. Good tip about the bowls that seal shut. Hopefully, we won't need that, but I might bring one along next time, just in case.

I did feel awful for Carter. I'm sure it was miserable for him to strapped in his car seat when he was sick. We considered stopping at a hotel, but decided that really wouldn't be much easier. Poor Carter had a rough trip between his arm and getting sick on the drive home.

Our last night was really great. We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening to end with. :cloud9:

The Disney sketch bag is a very beautiful bag. Disney gift cards always make a great gift. I like the new 40th anniversary bags. It would be hard to decide on a second bag. Isn't it going to be a great day when we don't have to carry around diaper bags anymore? I think my boys are getting close.

You know, we don't really do much for Mother's Day. This year, we'll be spending Mother's Day at Disney, so I really can't ask for much more than that.. :rotfl:
