I just got back home, from work and dinner out with the Family. I have not tried to enter VMK yet tonight. This new "bug" sounds pretty strange, I hope they fix it and it never raises it's ugly head again! Well, I'm off to try and join the rest of you VMK junkies, I hope to see you soon.

It was the first ever VMK "celebration." Originally a "Summer Celebration" where everyone would dress in their best "summer" outfits and march down Main Street for a chance to win an Inferno pin...turned into a nightmarish afternoon.

In actuality it was VMK's first big server test, just to see how much the server could really handle. And it turned out that the servers could only handle 2000 players. So imagine everyone crashing repeatedly, everyone "marching down Main Street" only to find that they had to wait in a 20-30 person long room line (unheard of during Beta), and everyone being generally cheesed off at VMK.

I can't find anymore threads other than this...http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=841118&highlight=parade. It was a nightmare though.
