so my 12 year old and her friend wanted to go to the movies. the firend suggested something she'd seen advertized on MTV, something called "Napoleon Dynamite."

the only thing worht watching the whole time we were in the theater was the trailer for "Phantom of the Opera."

you know a movie is boring when you keep checking your watch.

both girls thought it was "the stupidest thing I've ever seen."

DH liked it......DD and I were  through the whole thing thinking "Is it over yet?"

That is so funny! My DD14 and one of her friends went to see that movie a few weeks ago, and when they came out of the theatre my daughter exclaimed, "Well, that was two hours of my life I'll never get back!" They both thought it was an awful movie.

That is so funny that all of you hated it! I thought it was getting great reviews? Thanks for the warning, I really wanted to see it up until now. (I haven't seen previews, just heard it was really good)

I had to laugh when I read this. I said the exact same thing when we rented "Lost in Translation". Never trust those ciritics!

CBRorBust- I know what you mean. We saw previews of the movie on TV and it looked good. They must have shown the only entertaining 3 seconds of the movie.

mom2alix- I have to agree with you on Lost in Translation! I did not like it at all!
