Money has been a little tight of late, paying for holiday etc, so it was nice to come into work today to find ive won £500 on the works Hassra lottery. Well not me specificaly, my mate, who I go halves with has won £1000, so its £500 each.


I really really needed that.

I should have joined when back in 1999 a lad who sat next to me won a Vectra and sold it for £10k....

Its been worth it for me....I got £500 about 2 years back, and the lad I go shares with also got £500 a couple of years back.

We do put a fiver each a month on it though.

HASSRA is a sports and social club in the civil service and health service(i think) We pay subs each year to be a member and discounts etc can be had on trips etc.

They run a lottery in which i think you pay a pound for an entry, this is drawn each month and you continue to have you one ticket each draw. You can buy as many as you want and you keep these until you decide to drop out
