That Was Supposed To Be Scary?!

Ok, since we're talking about movies...

What movie that was supposed to be really scary (according to others) did you think was the bigggest let down because it was stupid/boring/unscary?

I saw the Blair Witch Project, hearing that it wasn't just stay-awake-at-night scary, but you'll-pee-your-pants scary. That was the biggest waste of money. I knew it was a bad sign when pretty early on I actually wanted the characters to die. Don't even get me started on them roaming around in the woods with no sense of direction. Some people are just too stupid to live & how the characters managed to stay alive long enough to reach their age is beyond me.

So which movie do you guys pick?

Blair Witch was a comedy wasn't it? I thought it was, I laughed the whole time. I never get scared in scary movies, I'm always the one that doesn't jump and just laughs. I've had dates who would get mad at me during scary movies because I'd take a nap.

Chris wouldn't take me to see Blair Witch 2. He said all my gut laughs and guffaws would disturb all the teenagers....

My cousin's band was on the soundtrack of the sequel, BWP II, but even then I couldn't bring myself to spend more money since I got rooked the first time around.

LOL I agree with the Friday the 13th....we count to see how long it is until someone falls down in the woods...we are never disappointed...lol

I'm with you guys... I did not find Blair Witch anything but annoying... I was very disappointed... the sad thing is I do scare easily...
