That tears in the eyes moment

When I most unfortunately am downwind from a flatulent baby brigade! Oh My God! And heavens to Betsy, Floyd! :)

Three years ago I was 8 months pregnat with my little monkey at Disneyland during the year of a million dreams celebration. I was my hubby's first trip and we were watching the dreams parade. It was at the spot where they stop and do their big number to the brother bear song Family Time. The Lion King float stoped in front of us (we were in the prime spot near IASW). No amount of bitting my lip was going to stop the tears. My hubby asked if I was crying, my responce was a Naploean Dinomite "Nooooo" followed by "it's so beautiful." Being pregnat sucks!! The out come is awsome, but those 9 months are misery to me. I couldn't here the song "Don't Take the Girl" (also known as Johnny's Daddy) by Tim Mcgraw without tearing up.

That is a sweet story! I was about to post mine, when I saw yours. Pretty similar, but I wasn't pregnant. Had my DD, then almost 3 years with me - it was the celebration ... dreams parade ... brother bear song ... oh my I got so emotional! We upgraded our park hoppers to APs that trip :)

Last year was our first trip to Disneyland as a family and my oldest daughter was just over 2 years old. On our second day, we pushed to stay up and watch fireworks because she loves them. As we stood on Mainstreet watching, my husband held her while she sat perfectly still, with huge eyes staring at the castle, signing "more, more, more" during the whole show. I still get teary to this day when I see the picture of the two of them together! :goodvibes:goodvibes

I teared up at the Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln presentation. His words, even thought they were delivered by a robot, are still truly great, not to mention prophetic for our day and time. I choked up pretty good and walked out with tears drying on my face. Good thing I went in the morning when there was only about 4 people in the room....

This was my daughters 5th birthday (also pictured were my oldest daughter, 7, and youngest, 2). All three of them were totally in love with the princesses and were in awe each time they met one. We took my daughter to Ariels Grotto for the princess dinner and this moment stole my heart. It meant the world to my daughters to have a princess (Belle) take the time to dance with them was one of those memories that I will never forget. This moment alone sold us on the magic of Disney and will keep us coming back for the rest of our lives. (I'm not sure who the little girl in the first two photos is, she wanted to join in I guess).

We had a great experience during our trip in August 09. My ds10 has disabilities and doesn't speak. He was very irritated with waiting in line to see Mickey. We didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes (we were meeting him in front of his house just when Toontown opened), but it was hot and humid that day. He was hitting his head on the armrest of the wheelchair and letting us know that he was upset. I was rubbing his arm and head trying to calm him down. Then it was our turn to meet Mickey.

Mickey had obviously noticed DS's distress and my calming actions. Mickey knelt down to the level of the wheelchair, rubbed DS's arm and head. And just paid attention to him for a minute or so....it was SO special. I cried the rest of the way through Mickey's house.

Girl, you crack me up:rotfl2:. I love reading the banter between you, Funball, Skiing fast, and Chicken Carlos.

Thank ya! Thank ya! :goodvibes I still say though, if a guy is macho, he will not be interested in carrying a Donal Duck wallet.... :scared1: ;) No, really....

Elvis has just left the building............. and will be promptly eating a banana and peanut butter sandwich. Do not ask him to share it with you, because you will have to get your own..... unless you are poor, and cannot afford one, then he will share his,otherwise...... no.....

Definitely my daughters first trip when she was 2, although now she doesn't remember it (shes 12 now) but seeing her face light up at everything she saw brought tears to my eyes. It's truly a different experience when you go with your kids.

My first 3 trips to Disneyland always seemed to fall on the dates HM was shut, finally this year I got to go on it after waiting forever! As soon as we entered the big graveyard room I burst into tears (trying to hide it from my older brother because I would be teased for a very very long time)... I couldn't help it!! Everything about the ride blew my expectations away.

My tears in the eyes moment came on friday night. just as we were sitting down for fireworks. matt tells me that he is falling for me. my heart stopped.. and i had a tiny tear..

I nearly cry every time we stay to watch the RDCT fireworks. Something about it just gets me, every single time. I think it just reminds me how special Disneyland is to me and has been since I was a kid, and how incredible it is that I am getting to share that with my son.

When my son was 1 and half, I had him in my arms, and he first saw Pooh, he told very happily “Pooh, daddy , Pooh.pooh: I still get tears from that

The look of wonder and belief on the face of my DD then almost 3 when she met Cinderella for the first time. She completely and truly felt that she was holding the hand of the REAL Cinderella.

Choke....sob.

luckily I had a friend with me to take pictures, but she was crying too. It really was sweet.

Ah..... but another moment.... when the toitey paper is clean out, and there is not a soul around so as to ask if they might be good enough to pass a piece.
Thank goodness, I normally have Kleenex in my purse, pocket or somewhere else....of course, sometimes one's supply is not sufficient for the job at hand. In which case, a barely passable back up, is the toitey seat liners. And there are your toitey tips for the day, week, month.... ;) No reallly,

i tear'd up the other day at disneyland.. not by choice really.. the person in fron of me on the tram Picked the wrong perfume to wear that night…. Well ok either I was crying cause my nostrils were in pain or my eyes were burning from the horrid smell.. I can’t really tell the difference…

:lmao:

When we took my 5yr old DD to Disneyland for the first time and Princess Jasmine asked her if we had flown on a magic carpet all the way from Australia. DD's eyes widened and she started giggling " no way, we wouldn't all fit!" Just magic :rotfl:

That sort a thing has happened to me too. Each time, it was a matter of some guy getting drunk at a singles dance. Next thing you know he is either falling for me, or toward me. Same difference really...:scared1: :rotfl:Which would be OK, if they were my type. But no.... no Jensen Ackles. If anyone knows him, here is my phone number... :) No, really... :flower3:
