Just wondering if anyone knows of some good excursions or places to see in any of the ports (besides Cozumel)? We feel as if on our last cruse we did not do much planning or look into any excursions. Open to any ideas!

I don't know if you'd be interested but my DD, myself, and Karajeboo's family are chartering a boat in Grand Cayman. We'll get to snorkel and go to sting ray city, maybe something else too?!?!? We have room for 3 more.

One bag for the 4 of you?..... I am in awe of you. How how how? We have one suitcase each with room in each for some of the FE things (I hope). I shipped FEs last time and spent the first night putting them all together.

I, too, am in awe! I am trying to limit us to 3 suitcases for 2 people -- ok so my son only needs 1 and I need at least 2! I know that we will be up to 4 by the time we leave -- which is why I wanted to stay at the Airport Hyatt so that I have folks to take care of my luggage! My poor son gets tired of carrying it all!

Went shopping for FE stuff and almost done -- Now I have to assemble!

Just one DOTD? I put my nook in a ziplock in case those DOTDs catch up with me and I drop it!

We are doing a private charger with FrogLady23 (Tammi and Tori) and have room for 3 more on our excursion, if you are interested!

Oh, you beat me to it! lol I think we go to Stingray City, a reef, a beach, and a drop anchor at the beach, which also has a restaurant...... It's a 4 hour tour....

Last time I way overpacked, so I"m hoping I can pare it down this cruise. I know this time to pack MORE casual shorts and tshirts for in port and sea days, and LESS dinner clothes. Each night we would go back to the cabin and change out of dinner clothes into shorts or whatever to go "out" at night..... But there is no cutting down on shoes..... I think I took 7 pair last time and I know I'll take at least that many this time. And Ally is quickly learning from me....

I said try...I may not be successful. We will each have a good sized carry-on. Last time I flew, I noticed a number of the large Vera Bradley duffles being carried on. We have two of those. I will be wearing the same black dress for formal/semi-formal and change wrap/accessories. Cutting way back on shoes. We will have to check one garment bag with the guys suits/shoes. That's my plan right now. I hate paying to check luggage!

WOW!!! That is impressive!
You guys have given me inspiration so I may have to try this- of course, my dh will still have a huge suitcase- he is a huge overpacker.....

I am impressed. I am inspired. Think I will try to at least cut us down to fewer bags. That would give me more room to bring things back...

Hi, does anyone know if the port arrival time in Cozumel (9:30 am) is central or eastern time? We are planning a private excursion and the company tells me the times on the itinerary are usually always eastern to match the Florida time zone but when planning excursion times you should remember the arrival in port may be one hour earlier (central time) and to plan private excursion times accordingly. Anyone know?

My count is 41 days!!!!

The news here is predicting 8 inches of snow for us on Sunday- good thing the kids don't have school on Monday- I won't have to worry about getting them anywhere.

Tammi, did our cruise meet group communicate this much last year? I know I met Tammi (FrogLady23) and her kids, and KristiMc and her family, and spent a little time with them on the cruise, but other than that, not much interaction at all.

Oh, and in LESS than 24 days, we will be at sea. in EXACTLY 42 days, we should just be pulling out of PC.....

The "newness" NEVER goes away for me.
Every time I see the ship as we are coming over the bridge driving I get goosebumps!!!
This will be cruise 14 and I am just as excited as the first time

I know what you mean - everytime I see the ship -- I cry!!! Dylan gets so embarrassed but I can't help myself! This will be number 8 for me!
