Third, you are talking about 6 pages of posts, not strategy guide. From your previous post you made it sound like he had 6 pages of tricks, etc.
Well, actually, he did write 6 pages of tips/hints...handbook. I just meant it wasn't 6 pages of posts...it's 6 posts that make up his handbook because each page is a different area. If you print them all out, it's 6 pages. Yours is 2, so my point was, stop calling yours "more detailed" cuz it's just not. That's all I'm saying. It's different and has a few pictures which DO help, but it's not more detailed.
About the gun not recognizing the exhaust port, did I or did I not mention in the beginning that the guide works except if you have a gun that fails. If you have a bad gun, obviously it won't pick things up. Common sense explains that.
The point I was trying to make to you was, since your guide is so comprehensive and the best guide on the internet (says you), then you might want to tell your readers what to hit if they can't get the hits on the exhaust port. You CAN still get 9's if the exhaust ports aren't registering, but your guide doesn't talk about any other targets other than the exhaust port. It's not that the gun doesn't work, and can't get you there, it's just that the exhaust ports aren't registering. I have come out of the scan and only had to pop a couple of 20K targets and it really doesn't matter if it's the exhaust port or green eyes. The eyes in the 2nd story window when you're on the right/inside track are gold and you can hit them probably a good 10 times as an alternate target, in fact, it's better than trying to hit the exhaust port, and THEN you can turn back and pop the EP a couple more times.
That's all. It happened alot the other day for us, sometimes the guns work fine throughout the ride, and just don't register those EP's. Your readers won't know what to do then. It was just a suggestion since you want to have the best guide. Many times you can either only hit it straight on, OR from the side, not both too. I understand the other targets might not be the best primary target, but it's a backup plan.
And finally. I came here to just promote my site. Get some people to start to look at it.
And that's great, but not everyone gives out advice and then goes around waving their arms around and plugging it every chance they get...and tell others how theirs is so much better. I know you probably don't mean to, but you come off as a little overbearing and conceited and you might try a little humility.
For the record, MIB9's hasn't been riding MIB for "like 12 years or something" and in fact, really didn't start riding on a regular basis until about 2 1/2 years ago, (and anyway, the ride didn't open till what, 2000?) he is very detail oriented and expresses himself well and put out a guide that still helps people score much better than they ever would have on their own. And I think it's rude of you to show up and act like you have the only real guide out there. He didn't ask for thanks or fanfare, but you seem to demand it...I think you should just turn it down a notch and realize, you've got a nice guide out there, and it's different from Kevin's and Chris' and you are all helping people out. They all offer their own something, and I think people should read all of them because they all give different advice and targets.
I don't think one is better than the other, just different.
