Thankyou Note from Wdw

Hi- I don't want to sound rude or self absorbed, but I notice when many families come back from WDW they receive a cute ThankYou note, from the resort w/signatures of a few characters. It is so special & wish we had gotten one (it seems like a nice keepsake) Just wondering if its random families that receive it?

When did you get back? We always get it about 1 month later.

There is a cute little booklet received before our trip with Buzz & Woody on it. It's sent to those who book through Disney Travel.

Upon return home - we get a card with Mickey & the gang on it, thanking us for spending time with them & wishing us happiness until we come to WDW to see them again. Again - it's from Disney Travel.

We book with Disney Travel by phone & love all the cute little perks included. We have a relative who booked with AAA - and got nothing extra. She was jealous of my stuff!

Maybe yours will come soon. We left on June 2nd and I just received a Thank you postcard. It has Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy and Tinkerbelle in front of the castle with their signatures.
It was from the resort we stayed at. It came from Disney Destinations LLC.
As soon as I got it I wanted to go back.

We just got one this week and we left Disney on May 24th. My MIL was with us for a few days in the early part of our trip and got one about a week before us. I would give it a good month.

Awwww thanks dis friends. We booked w/a travel agency, so I don't know if I will get it. Either way we had a blast!!! Thanks for the responses!

We do get pin codes once in a while, but never got a thank you card .

I don't know about renting points but our room and my MILs room were both booked as room only and we both received one. It seems fairly random.

We've gotten one after our last several trips. We are DVC members, so using points for your stay doesn't preclude you from the postcards!

LOL, it seems that we can never use any pin codes anyway. They are always at a time of year we cant go !!!

We got the thank you card after our last trip, booked through Disney. Hmmmmm....now that I think of it the one time we got a pin was after the trip we booked through small world. ?????

Our vacation was June 1-7 and our card arrived on June 26. I had never seen one before, but the kids loved it. It will go in the Disney scrapbook.
