Hi all,

I will be away when it is Thanksgiving, do any of the parks to anything to Celebrate this and is there anything you would recommend doing/going on this day?

Thx

LOL yes Bekki avoid them like the plague ;)

I'm just kiddin' they can get pretty busy on Turkey Day. You need to pick a park that takes the crowds well e.g. Epcot or Sea World those would definately be my recommendation. It will be busy that week but with some careful planning you can still get some optimum touring time in the parks.

When I was there for TD I spent the day at Wet and Wild it was very quiet and relaxing.

Most of the restaurants do traditional TD meals. We ate at Darryl's on I-Drive and that was really good. But if you want to eat at Disney I'd say you need to make a PS ASAP.

There aren't any shops open that day apart from tourist trap ones so that bear that in mind if you decide to make it a "quiet" day.

We went once over thanksgiving. (Could book no other time)

As advised by many we decided to have a quiet day and not do a park. Most shops closed.

I would also keep an eye on the local news for travel updates, especially if you want to travel to say the coast.

Just think of our "Easter weekend" on the roads. No so busy on the day but the day before and just after can be a little busy.

Do not be put off totally as their road system is a lot better than our one big National car park (LOL)
