Hello-

I am hoping to celebrate Thanksgiving in the park this year. I haven't done this before and we love input/tips from everyone. First off, where should we have our "dinner"? I think there is a buffet? Or maybe a table service dinner? The reservation window is soon and I like to have my game plan ready. All the Christmas decorations are up at this time, correct? Also, has anyone else been during this time? How were the crowds? Is there anything Thanksgiving specific that happens in the parks at the time? Thanks in advance!

I have had several friends say that the Buffet was not al that great and never again...overpriced and a cattle call feel. I believe many of the sit down restaurants will do a Holiday Meal option...Personally I would book a table service.

Did it 2 years ago...Thanksgiving day was not too bad but day after Thanksgiving was stupid busy.

We enjoyed the buffet. We had a great time. Maybe the key is to have an early reservation.
I would love to do Thanksgiving at Dismeyland again.
The morning was great. It picked up in the evening especially in Tomorrowland.
Have a wonderful time.

We went last Thanksgiving and the buffet , special character interaction photo spots , service was all fantastic. We had an early reservation but all the food was amazing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We even had curbside seats for the holiday parade only an hour before at the hub on Thanksgiving day, it was wonderful and worth every moment.

thanksgiving day is great as long as you manage your time. Thanksgivng week and week after becomes a better time to visit in the next three years 2016-2018, with 2018 being the best Week of Thanksgiving and week after thanksgiving. Also added to the mix of low crowds are The ROA closures, the presidential election results and perhaps the October correction in the stock market, all three will have an influence on crowd levels for the 2016 holidays

We do the Thanksgiving Day Royal Feast. We love it. Great food, the servers have always been great, and we enjoy the character photo ops. This year, friends invited themselves to join us, so we will be the big party in the middle!!!

We were in the parks last year for thanksgiving we had our thanksgiving dinner at storytellers it was a buffet and was amazing food

In terms of being the in park that day we used our Magic Morning and it was dead we did all of fantasyland in 20mins
It got busy towards lunchtime so we took our midday break then went back just before our dinner to get our Santa photo done then went to our dinner reservation
