I am thankfull for a Mickey Mouse balloon in the parade.
I was beginning to think I was old, had not a clue who half of the other characters in the parade are.![]()

We've sent our boy home with a stuffed car and stuffed belly. LOL. That's what it's all about, eh?
Happy Thanksgiving to all you Americans
We had ours already... in October![]()

As for us, I love to cook thanksgiving dinner, so we always make enough food for a crowd even when it's just the two of us, as it was this year. Organic free-range turkey, stuffing with apples, raisins and walnuts, gravy, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, baked carnival squash, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie. Probably end up freezing half the bird and stuffing for another time.
Thankful that I'm still around and able to make a meal like this, and that I still have someone to share it with, and for all my DIS friends!!
I caught some serious static last year when i tried substituting sizzled asian green beans for the old tried and true casserole.
We don't even do green beans at Thanksgiving. We like them well enough (well, I like them better than my wife) but we don't usually include them in holiday fare.
Nothing to be ashamed of. Diversity makes the world go 'round.
I love Green Bean Cassarole!
Darn proud to admit it!![]()
