THANKSGIVING- which park to visit?

My family is going to be visiting WDW for 5 days, with the first day being Thanksgiving (Thursday Nov 27). We plan to spend one day each at MGM and AK, and one-and-a-half days each at MK and Epcot. What would be the best days to visit each park, in terms of avoiding crowds? Ideally, we would like to go to MK on Thanksgiving to take advantage of the late closing time, but I'm afraid it will be too crowded. So then I though maybe we could go to either MGM or AK all day Thursday, then maybe spend a few more hours at MK- would this be possible? I've heard you can get "locked out" of parks on busy days if you don't go early.

Thanks for any advice!

Epcot is our favorite park on turkey day and a close 2nd is MGM...we usually do both...start at MGM and end at Epcot! Hope you have a great trip!

Whish is the best day for MK- Thanksgiving Thursday, Friday, or Saturday? I assumed Thursday would be the most crowded because of the televised parade, but from what I've been hearing on these boards Friday and Saturday seem to be more crowded. Does anyone have personal experience?

We were at Epcot last Thanksgiving for about half a day and it wasn't bad at all. We stayed away from MK because we had heard that it gets very crowded. Went to Epcot the next day, Friday, and the crowds definately increased. I would imagine that all the parks would be crowded that weekend with a definate drop in attendance on the following Monday.
