Thanksgiving Weekend

My girlfriend and I fly into Orlando right in the middle of Thanksgiving weekend - Saturday evening.

It suddenly dawned on us last night that this might mean there's less choice for places for us to grab dinner .. or some places might close early.

Sorry but I hate Dennys even though they're open 24-7 .. so that's one option shot down !

We'll be staying just off I-Drive ( the hotel doesn't offer food outside of breakfast ) but I know the area pretty well so I'm sure we can find something .. however can anybody out our minds at rest ?

on saturday, i'm sure places will be open. a lot of places are even open on thanksgiving these days.

It's a holiday weekend, therefore - EVERYTHING in Orlando is open. You will NOT have a problem at all.

We cater to the tourists, so things will likely be open late, even.

Might I recommend Sweet Tomatoes? It's on the corner of I-Drive and Kirkman. It's a cafeteria/buffet-style place, but it's real nice, clean, and they have great food. Endless Salad bar, pasta bar, potato bar, fresh home-made pizza, desserts, you name it. Oh, and 3 kinds of home made soup daily. They're usually open until 10pm on weekends.

Can ya tell it's my #1 favorite??? LOL

You really are awesome.

Call me crazy .. but Sweet Tomatoes was one of the places I was thinking about.

Over the last 6 years or so I've seen them pop up all over the place .. been tempted but never gone in.

Perfect as we LOVE veggies !

We love the soup and salads at Sweet tomotoes.. don't forget all the wonderful salads and the warm wonderful soup...
Dh loves the pasta too
