Thanksgiving Weekend 2019

Does anyone know of any major events occurring at the convention center or around Anaheim Thanksgiving Weekend 2019? In booking our trip we tried to get into the Anaheim Marriott but they were completely booked, as well as other Marriott’s around property. I was pretty surprised by this since we are so far away and don’t see anything obvious going on that would explain it.

In past years, we noticed the Hilton Anaheim was always full of college basketball players over Thanksgiving week for a tournament held at the Anaheim Convention Center. I see that tournament has moved to the campus of Cal State Fullerton, but maybe the accommodations around the Anaheim Resort area haven’t? Thanksgiving week is a busy time generally.

ETA: I’m seeing cash and points availability at the Anaheim Marriott and several surrounding Marriott properties for Thanksgiving week/end 2019.
