Thanksgiving weekend '09...reservation questions

Are reservations available for that weekend yet, and if so, are AAA rates out? If no AAA yet, should I just book at reg. rate to make sure I have something, and when do you expect those rates to be out? Thanks a bunch!

I haven't checked yet, but we usually go every Thanksgiving and the rates are usually released about 6 - 8 months ahead of time.

AAA rates probably won't be available until later.

I would book whatever is the best at the time and then change it if it goes down during the year. Make sure you book through Loews or Universal (NOT Universal Vacations) so that you have the option of cancelling without penalty up to 5 days in advance in case the rates do not go down and you are not comfortable with your rate.

We are planning on a Thanksgiving trip as well to Universal for 2009!
I am going to book now then call back as the prices drop
Right now Hard Rock is running 296 per night so hoping for a price drop on that price
