I just booked my Disney Vacation. Normally we go last week in Sept, but I booked for Nov. 17 (Friday before thanksgiving) until Nov. 23. (Leaving on Thanksgiving Day) Is it crowded this week. I thought I was avoiding the rush leaving on Thanksgiving Day, but the lady at Disney said it is packed. Please help.

Thanks
stephanie

I to am going November 17 thru the 22 but on the 22nd im going to stay with family friends about 20minutes outside the world until the 11/25. I've never been to disney in November I usually like to go in October but I was invited down for thanksgiving so I decided to make a vacation out of it... As I'm looking at things I'm getting a little nervous as to how crowded its going to be. I'm use to there being little to no crowds.

It actually starts to get crowded that Monday before Thanksgiving. BUT.... You will be able to see the Christmas decorations so it will really be worth it.

We went to Disney last year in November. We went down the Friday before and stayed through Thanksgiving weekend, leaving on the following Monday.

The parks seemed to get increasingly crowded as it got closer to Turkey Day. I would say get all of the "must dos" done before the Tues. of Turkey week. There were so many people at Epcot on Thanksgiving Sat. that the Soarin fastpasses for the day were gone by noon!

The weather was beautiful, in the 70s and 80s. You'll still have a great time, just plan ahead and do what you really want to get done early in your trip.

We were there last year during this same time. Things were NICE from Friday until Tues. Low crowds... beautiful weather. We did have one day of pretty chilly weather for us Southerners. On Wednesday, things got really crowded. The MK was PACKED but Epcot was nice.

We plan to go again during this time. The Christmas deocrations were up, and things were beautiful. We will leave the day after Thanksgiving next time because many things were closed on the interstate.

Enjoy your trip! :Pinkbounc

We'll be there that week too! Arriving on the 16th and flying home Thanksgiving day. I'm a little nervous about the crowds too, but I'm happy to read that things don't pick up until a few days before Thanksgiving. We'll have spent a day at each park by then and will just be going back to the parks for favorites. I was wondering if the Christmas decorations would be up, and am excited that they are! :Pinkbounc

I will be there the week after. Any ideas on crowds then? And where are the best christmas decorations? I've been to WDW many times, but never around cmas. I can't wait :woohoo:
