We're deciding between the Friday before Thanksgiving through the Saturday (Nov. 20-28th) OR December 18-26th for a trip this year, staying on property. Any pros/cons between the two?

We have regularly gone the week before Christmas. The latest we have left has been December 23. This last year was our first trip at Thanksgiving. We arrived on Wednesday and left on Sunday. I don't know if it was a fluke or not, but our Christmas trips have been less crowded than Thanksgiving. Weather was a little more predictable at Thanksgiving though.

I've been both the week before Christmas and after Christmas through New Year and I think the week before Christmas is more manageable crowd wise. If I had the chance to go those dates and leave on the 26th that's exactly what I would do. Nothing more magical than being at Disney for Christmas.

We've gone around the week of Dec 15 for the past two years. In 2018 it worked out great with low crowds. But this past Dec the crowds were nuts. We stayed at GF and had to wait for 4 or 5 monorails every time. We've gone twice at Thanksgiving, and parks were crowded Thurs-Sun but the days before and after were very manageable.
