We're going to be in Orlando for Thanksgiving week (11/18-24) and we want to go to Universal for 2 or 3 days. We're experienced WDW veterans, but in over a dozen trips to Orlando we haven't been to Universal before. How are the crowds during T'giving week. I notice that the $19.99 Express Plus is available in the early part of the week - does that mean they're not expecting huge crowds? Anyone know what the least crowded days are likely to be that weeK? Is it worth getting the Express Plus pass? Any must-sees and must-dos for the Universal first timer? We're two adults and 3 coaster and thrill ride loving girls ages 7, 11 and 13. The 7 year old will turn 8that week - are there any fun birthday things to do at Universal?

The cheaper the EP the less crowded it should be. As with any holiday time, the crowds are a lot larger than normal. If you go during Thanksgiving week and stay away from the actual weekend, you should be fine...but that weekend is really busy.

We went to US/IOA last Thanksgiving and the lines were 0-20 minute waits. I think we went on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We did not get EP and did everything but the water rides in 2 days. I think everything is a must see or do but I love ET!!
