I had to rebook my trip thanks to Irma, to my next scheduled vacation, Thanksgiving week. I booked Olivia's Cafe for Thanksgiving dinner. My question is which park is the one to avoid(other than MK, my guess is MK will be out of control.

I did hear something last year about WS being crazy with BF shoppers-is this true and where should I avoid on day after Thanksgiving?

Anything else that's different this week?

Hi Connie

We go for Thanksgiving each year and have even braved MK on Thanksgiving Morning - it's busy but not unmanageable - we're normally away for lunchtime and then hit the shops - but that's cos were from the UK and love the madness of it all.

I feel that AK will be the busy park this year due to Pandora.

WS wasn't crazy with BF shoppers last year but it is the start of the Christmas Season at EP and the 1st Candlelight Processional so it is busy with holiday crowds. Again it's not not manageable just busy.

We'll see you there :yay:

I agree with the post above. None of the parks are insanely busy, with the lone exception of MK itself late in the day on Thanksgiving Day. We were in MK on T-Day from roughly park open until about 2pm and we had no issues whatsoever. The rest of the parks are fine.

This will be our first Thanksgiving at Disney. Our plan is to go to HS on the day of, but we are staying at Beach Club and want to stick close to the hotel. I use Kenny the Pirate's crowd calendars and he suggests MK that day.

We've done Epcot on Thanksgiving day in the past, it was totally manageable. This year, we're rope dropping MK and leaving after our BOG lunch and booked a later dinner at 'Ohana.

We have gone many times for Thanksgiving and I would avoid MK on Thanksgiving Day. Usually, we have gone to AK and have had no issues. I would avoid Epcot on Black Friday. It is the first day of Holidays Around the World and the WS will be packed for that. I usually wait to go visit Epcot for the Holidays Around the World on Saturday.

We have been several times during Thanksgiving Week and always spent BF at Epcot. We would do FW early in the week so that day was for WS especially Holidays Around the World and CP so did not find the crowds too bad.
