Thanksgiving week at OKW, anyone done it?

If you have, could you give me a little insight as to what to expect about making reservations, the crowds early in the week, during the Thanksgiving stretch (Wed-Fri) and the weekend after Thanksgiving. Also anything that may usually go on at that time like certain stuff down for rehab, promotions etc.

What did you find the weather to be like, warm or cool?

Just stuff like that.

Thanksgiving weekend is traditionally one of the most crowded times at WDW. The day after Thanksgiving, in particular, is an extremely crowded day at the parks because you not only have tourists there on a long weekend, you have locals who have the day off. Disney Quest will be PACKED, and MK will likely close at capacity fairly early in the day.

As the weekend continues on, it will be less and less crowded, but it won't be until Monday before the place really empties out.

Weather -- could be warm/hot in the 80s and 90s; could be cool in the 60s. Which side of that you'll be on won't become clear until about two weeks prior. No way to gauge that now!

We have gone to OKW for Thanksgiving every other year since 1999. Because we need villas for 19 I call day by day to make ressies to be sure I get what I need. The weather has ranged from very warm to downright chilly. We pack at least one set of warm clothing. We arrive the weekend before T'giving and the parks are great. The parks get increasingly crowded as the week progresses. I believe TL is usually closed at this time. We buy a Turkey dinner to reheat so I don't know how crazy the restaurants are.
