Thanksgiving vs Easter vs June 2019

We used to always visit in January. Loved the low crowds and cooler weather, but our kids are older now so it's hard to pull them out of school. So then we started going the last week of August, the heat didn't bother us and the crowds are always very manageable.

Anyway, now end of August is hard because our oldest has HS sports that start practicing in August before school starts.

So which is best, Thanksgiving week, the week leading up to Easter weekend, or mid-late June in 2019?

Mostly concerned about crowds though we are veterans and we rope drop every morning and are typically able to walk on or wait minimal waits for the first hour in the park or so. I will also say that we do NOT do any coasters other then barnstormer because my kids don't like them. So we are able to use our FP for typically slower rides..

Should also mention that we are using main entrance passes (cast member). Have Thanksgiving and week leading up to Easter historically been black out weeks for those? If so I guess we have no choice but June.

Just so you aren't bummed out thinking you are missing out on Jan & Aug low crowds, that's changed alot in the past year. We go annually late Aug for many years now (among other times), and Aug 2017/start of Sep was far busier than I've ever seen it then. Apparently they lifted a local AP blackout, started F&W and MNSSHP in late August last year. Also, I went mid Jan 2 or 3 years ago and enjoyed low crowds, but reports from last month are that it was very busy. I always say I can do large crowds or the summer FL heat, but not both (this will be our last late Aug).

(Someone else will answer your question (sorry!) - I know Tday and easter are super busy, and ordinarily June isn't that bad (I've been many times), but I'm not sure if Star wars land opens by june 2019 - which would really bring in the crowds.) Just didn't want you to feel like you are missing out on super low crowds in Jan or Aug.

Thanks!
We were there in August 2017 and didn't feel as though the crowds were any different, with the exception of Pandora of course. But we were home by the 28th, so our trip didn't extend into Sept.
We also went at rope drop and left by 11:30 most days to do naptime with our youngest and then back to the parks around 4. So perhaps we missed the biggest midday crowds.

If June isn't too bad maybe we will do that. Thanksgiving would really be ideal due to the weather but...can't have everything..

I would recommend going June based on our 1st week of April 2017 and Thanksgiving week 2017 experiences. We still had a great time but pretty sure those are some of the busiest weeks in the parks. We are going same week this coming April with Easter right at the front end of our trip, so I can report back just how bad it will be.

Due to our work schedule Easter is the best time for us. But I will tell you Easter is way more expensive for both flights and hotel rooms than June. The weather is so nice here in June we don't like to leave but I'm pretty sure we will be staying there in June at some point.

Our hotels would be $800 USD cheaper (which is $1000 CAD) and our flights would be $400x4people = about $1600 cheaper if we didn't have a flight around Good Friday and went in late June instead.

I'm sure you probably have but if not and cost is a factor I would run the numbers on each trip and you might see significant differences (thousands) in cost.
