Hello all you planning experts :)

Heading to WDW the week of Thanksgiving following a RC cruise. Going to AK on Tuesday the 20th but from what I understand Wed thru the weekend is very busy. Soooo, which day should we go to Epcot?
Completely want to staying away from MK.

In the past, the Christmas Candlelight Processional has started on the Friday after Thanksgiving, as well as Christmas/Holiday events around EPCOT, so I would venture to guess Friday would not be the best day unless you wanted to see the CCP.

If you only have one day I would do Fri to experience the storytellers and CP. We have been there on several Black Fridays and it has not been that bad.

While MK is typically packed on Thanksgiving Day, we found EPCOT to be pretty full on that Thursday as well. Granted this was 2015, but the crowds just keep growing and growing!

We’ve gone the past 2 years for thanksgiving week (and are returning this year!). It’s going to be crowded the entire week (with the end being generally the worst). We always go on Friday and Saturday because of the candlelight processional/story tellers/food booths. I think you have to decide if that’s something you want to see and go from there. If you’re not interested in those events then definitely go as early in the week as you can.
