Thanksgiving Planning

We are planning our daughters first trip. So far we have booked offsite @ Sheraton Vistana resort and are planning to come 3 nights early as the flights are cheaper and stay onsite for 3 nights. Thinking POR royal guest room. Unsure if I should do the planning booking on my own or use a TA. Not sure where to begin on selecting a TA. It would be nice to give them my choices and have them book it. But also with FP + I will likely be choosing those myself online , correct? Also unsure of the DDP....Not sure if it would be worth it for the 4days, 3 nights we will be onsite. Hmmmmm. Any advice or input is greatly appreciated
