Thanksgiving Menus

For those who have eaten Thanksgiving dinners at the parks, can you give me a little info on what the menus are like. I am thinking a buffet would work best. My husband are not picky and will eat traditional Thanksgiving food. My daughter and I are vegetarians. I will eat most things that don't have meat, but my daughter is super picky. I would love to get a feel for what the different restaurants have on their buffets so I know which one to select.
If you have any info/pics of past buffets I would love it.

Thanks,

The buffets will be Storytellers, Goofy's, and Paradise Pier's Surf's Up. They generally have their standard items with turkey included and decorated in a Thanksgiving theme. There will also be a Thanksgiving "Feast" at the Disneyland Hotel in the Ballroom. It will have your traditional turkey, and prime rib, along with all the fixings. It is quite large, having several stations. They have shrimp and crab and various salads and cheeses/meats in one area. There are kids foods like chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. I will see if I can find pics from previous years. I know I have previously posted them.

  • Carnation Café: Slow-roasted turkey with turkey-bourbon gravy, mashed sweet potatoes, apple-cranberry stuffing, cranberry-orange relish, veggies and a dinner roll.
  • Plaza Inn: Slow-roasted turkey with traditional turkey gravy and sage dressing, mashed potatoes, veggies and a dinner roll.
  • River Belle Terrace “Fantasmic!” Dinner: Slow-roasted turkey breast with stuffing, roasted garlic-thyme mashed potatoes, home-style gravy, veggies, cornbread and cranberry relish.
  • French Market Restaurant: Slow-roasted turkey breast with andouille sausage stuffing, Market potatoes, home-style gravy, veggies, artisan bread and cranberry relish. Also pumpkin pie.
  • Blue Bayou Restaurant: Slow-roasted turkey roulade with focaccia stuffing, roasted garlic, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, Cognac turkey gravy and cranberry relish.
  • Harbour Galley: Turkey tortilla soup simmered with roasted corn and black beans.
  • Café Orleans: Slow-roasted turkey breast with cornbread and giblet stuffing, red skin mashed potatoes, veggies, home-style gravy and cranberry relish.

I am wondering the same thing. One daughter is vegetarian and the other is vegan. We did eat at the Plaza Inn one year. DH and I had turkey dinners and the girls had pasta with marinara. It all tasted good, but wasn’t super enjoyable because it was 90 degrees that day. Not exactly “holiday” weather!
